An apparatus includes a materials separator that includes a continuous filter belt disposed around a plurality of rollers. The apparatus also includes a pressure differential system operatively coupled to the separator and configured to adjust a pressure differential across the continuous filter belt. A vacuum is applied to the continuous filter belt and a fluid portion of the slurry on the continuous filter belt is drawn through the continuous filter belt. An apparatus includes a materials separator having a first deck with a first continuous filter belt and a second deck with a second continuous filter belt.

Fluid and solid material separator

An apparatus may include a centrifuge bowl rotatable about its longitudinal axis, a discharge unit positioned to receive discharge fluid from the centrifuge bowl, a diverter fluid circuit in communication with the discharge unit, a measurement region of the diverter fluid circuit with a narrower diameter than a cross section of the discharge unit, and the diverter fluid circuit oriented to direct a portion of the discharge fluid from the discharge unit to the measurement region.

A screen assembly includes a frame having an outer perimeter and at least one inner support member, and at least one smooth surface affixed to the frame, where the smooth surface(s) have perforations. The frame may include a plurality of contact points extending upward from a top surface, and at least one smooth perforated screening surface is affixed to the plurality of contact points on the frame. In some cases, the smooth surface comprises a perforated region and an erosion resistant region. Also, the perforations may have a shape that includes one or more corners. The smooth surface may be a perforated metal foil, sheet metal, and the like. Perforations may be apertures having one or more opening area sizes across the span of the screen assembly.

Apparatus and methods for degassing and analyzing drilling fluid discharged from a wellbore at an oil and gas wellsite. The apparatus may be a drilling fluid analysis system having a gas analyzer, a fluid analyzer, and a degasser operable to release and separate mud gas entrained in the drilling fluid. The degasser may include a gas-liquid separator having a separator inlet configured to receive the drilling fluid containing the entrained mud gas, a first separator outlet for discharging the mud gas fluidly connected with the gas analyzer, and a second separator outlet for discharging degassed drilling fluid fluidly connected with the fluid analyzer.

A screen assembly includes a frame having an outer perimeter and at least one inner support member, and at least one smooth surface affixed to the frame, where the smooth surface(s) have perforations. The frame may include a plurality of contact points extending upward from a top surface, and at least one smooth perforated screening surface is affixed to the plurality of contact points on the frame. In some cases the smooth surface comprises a perforated region and an erosion resistant region. Also, the perforations may have a shape that includes one or more corners. A system having a screen having an upper side and a lower side for separating drill cuttings and drilling fluid within a vibratory separator; a tray positioned below the screen for receiving the drilling fluid from the screen; a pressure differential generator coupled to the tray, the pressure differential generator configured to create a pressure differential between the upper side and the lower side through the screen to enhance the flow of drilling fluid through the screen; and a hose assembly coupling the pressure differential generator to a coupler, an inlet of the coupler being arranged perpendicularly between a first outlet coupled to a mist eliminator and a second outlet coupled to a tank.

Apparatus, system and method for separating components of a slurry

This disclosure is generally drawn to systems, devices, apparatuses, and/or methods, related to monitoring a shaker and monitoring a room in which shaker(s) operate. Specifically, the disclosed systems, devices, apparatuses, and/or methods relate to controlling an actuated arm to inspect, remove, replace, repair, clean the shaker and/or screen assemblies based on monitoring the shaker and its screen assemblies, and to adjust or maintain shaker(s) in a defined area such as the room in which shaker(s) operate. While the examples disclosed herein generally describe shakers for separating solids from fluids, the present disclosure contemplates that other separation equipment (e.g., machines for separating solids from other solids) may also be monitored and controlled by the systems and methods described herein.

Smart shaker room

A method, apparatus and system for flowing a fluid from an inlet flush nozzle onto tiered plates in a trough is provided. Material may fall from a deck in a vibratory separator, such as a shale shaker, into the trough, which is attached to the separator. The trough has a main inlet and the inlet flush nozzle that opens to tiered plates. An external pipe may feed the fluid into the main inlet and the inlet flush nozzle to lubricate the tiered plates in the trough. Material falling from the vibratory separator may float on the fluid to flow toward an outlet of the trough. A single plate with perforations may be used instead of the tiered plates to permit the fluid to penetrate the perforations to suspend the material, allowing the material to flow across the single plate to an outlet.

Apparatus, system and method for flowing a fluid through a trough

An apparatus includes a manifold plate-like structure having two end regions and an opening located in the recessed region configured to allow fluid flow therethrough and a clamping device. The clamping device includes a first clamping block and a first mechanical fastener to couple the first clamping block and the manifold. The apparatus also includes a vibratory separator including a basket having support structure therein, the manifold coupled to the support structure with a clamping device. A pan is disposed above the manifold and coupled to the manifold and a screen is disposed on the pan. A pressure differential device is coupled to the manifold and configured to provide a pressure differential across the screen. A method includes coupling the manifold to the support structure, disposing the pan on the support structure, and coupling the pan to the manifold.

Apparatus for a screen pulse system

An apparatus includes a vibratory separator with a top deck, a middle deck, and a bottom deck, and a collection trough coupled to at least one of the top deck, the middle deck, and the bottom deck. The collection trough includes a collection container having an inlet configured to receive a material retained on the at least one of the top deck, the middle deck, and the bottom deck, and a sloped surface configured to guide the material from the inlet to an outlet of the collection container, and a pressure differential generator disposed proximate the outlet of the collection container.

A system for filtering particles from a fluid includes a strainer. The strainer includes a housing having an inlet, a first outlet, a second outlet. A filter element is positioned in an internal volume of the housing. The filter element defines a bore formed axially-therethrough and openings that are substantially transverse to the bore. A first portion of the fluid that enters the housing through the inlet flows through the openings in the filter element and exits the housing through the first outlet, and a second portion of the fluid that the housing through the inlet bypasses the openings and exits the housing through the second outlet.

Process for mixing wellbore fluids

The invention provides a method of manufacturing a solid phase barite containing material for use in a wellbore. The method includes the steps of providing the barite containing material having relatively small particles with a particle size distribution of at least 50 vol % particles having a diameter in the range of 1 &#x3bc;m to 10 &#x3bc;m and at least 90 vol % particles having a diameter in the range of 4 &#x3bc;m to 20 &#x3bc;m; and contacting the barite containing material with a liquid in order to form relatively large particles having a particle size distribution with at least 90 vol % of the particles having a diameter of at least 30 &#x3bc;m. There is also described a method of treating a wellbore with a fluid including the barite containing material.
