A number of variations may include a clutch apparatus having at least one clutch and having an actuating device for actuating the clutch, the actuating device being movable from an opening position, in which the clutch is open, into a closing position, in which the clutch is closed. The actuating device can be locked with form-fit action in the closing position or opening position.

The present invention relates to a freewheel () having an inner ring (), an outer ring () and at least one wedging element () between the inner ring () and the outer ring (), which can be moved from a wedging position, in which the wedging element () prevents rotation of the outer ring () relative to the inner ring () in a first circumferential direction (), into a release position, in which the outer ring () can be rotated in an opposite, second circumferential direction () relative to the inner ring (), wherein the wedging element () is preloaded into the wedging position by means of a spring element (). The spring element () has an elongate spring body (), which extends in a radial plane and has a corrugated profile in the radial direction (). The present invention furthermore relates to a freewheel arrangement () having a freewheel () of this kind.

Freewheel and freewheel arrangement

A starter freewheel is provided. The starter freewheel has a first race, a second race, a wedging gap formed between the first and second races, at least one wedging element arranged in the wedging gap, and at least one further component. The further component is in rotary drive connection with one of the races. The component is formed by at least two sheet-metal parts connected to one another in sandwich-fashion. A freewheel arrangement having a starter freewheel of this kind is also provided.

A freewheel () having a first running ring (), a second running ring (), a clamping gap () formed between the first and second running rings (), and at least one clamping element () in the clamping gap (), the clamping gap () being assigned a side wall () on which the at least one clamping element () can be or is supported. A side () of the clamping element () which faces toward the side wall () and/or that side () of the side wall () which faces toward the clamping element () is provided with a friction-reducing, wear-reducing and/or corrosion-reducing coating () or surface treatment.

A freewheel device having a switchable freewheel which may include a first race, a second race, locking elements arranged between the first and second races and a locking element cage for receiving the locking elements. The locking element cage may be rotated relative to the first race to a first rotational position in which the first race is in rotationally entraining connection to the second race via the locking elements and to a second rotational position in which the first race is not in rotationally entraining connection to the second race. The switching device may be formed by a first planetary gear, a second planetary gear and a switching drive.
