A system and computer-implemented method for detecting and addressing billing fraud by an asserted provider of a good or service based on location data associated with card-based financial transactions by an asserted recipient and collected, stored, analyzed, and acted on by a payment card network to determine and respond to a likelihood of fraud. A computer stores locations of the recipient based on uses of a payment card over a time period, and determines a location of the provider based on location data associated with a card reader at a particular time at which the good or service was allegedly provided. The computer compares the two locations for the particular time and generates a fraud score based on a likelihood that the recipient was physically capable of being at the provider location at the particular time, and based on the score, may notify the recipient and decline the payment request.

System and computer-implemented method for using location data on a card network to detect and address billing fraud

A system and method for sensing a seat occupancy by an individual and executing an ecommerce transaction via the individual's mobile device for the cost of a ticket based on the occupied seat. For example, an attendee enters a multiplex and chooses a theater and a seat from which to watch a movie, or a passenger enters a station and chooses a train and a seat in which to travel. In both cases, the occupancy of the seat is detected, an amount owed is determined based on the occupancy of the seat, and an ecommerce transaction is initiated via the mobile device to pay the amount. The determination of the amount may be delayed for a period after the individual has stopped moving to ensure they have made their final choice. The individual may be required to verify a relevant characteristic, such as age or membership in a discounted group.

Embodiments of the disclosure enable a system to provide notification services. The system receives account selection data associated with one or more cardholder accounts, identifies contact data corresponding to one or more issuer devices associated with the one or more cardholder accounts, generates notification data associated with the one or more cardholder accounts for notifying one or more issuers associated with the one or more cardholder accounts, receives transaction data associated with one or more financial transactions, and analyzes the received transaction data to generate wallet data corresponding to the transaction data for providing an opportunity to manage the one or more financial transactions. Aspects of the disclosure provide for transmitting notification data in an efficient and user-friendly manner.

Systems and methods for providing notification services using a digital wallet platform

Embodiments of the disclosure enable a tailored user experience to be provided. A kiosk system includes a scanner component configured to identify biometric data; a metric component configured to communicate with the scanner component to identify user identifier data based on the biometric data; a transaction component configured to communicate with the metric component to identify a financial account corresponding to the identified user identifier data, and generate a request for authorization for a financial transaction using the identified financial account; and a dispenser component configured to communicate with the transaction component to determine whether to dispense the beverage. Aspects of the disclosure provide for tailoring a user experience based on various factors including a user metric and/or an account metric.
