A transaction card reading system, which includes: a transaction card reader having a slot for inserting a transaction card; and a protective flap movable between two positions: a closed position wherein the flap closes the insertion slot, and an open position wherein the flap is disposed at least partly outside the insertion slot. The protective flap includes a closure element integrally mounted on a one-piece support element, the closure element being shaped and dimensioned to close the insertion slot in the closed position. The one-piece support element includes at least one elastically deformable portion so as to allow switching from the closed position to the open position and vice versa.

A hybrid transaction card reader system includes a hybrid transaction card reader and a device for protecting the hybrid reader. The hybrid transaction card reader includes a magnetic strip reader and a chip reader. The device for protecting the hybrid reader includes an upper protective printed circuit and a lower protective printed circuit. The hybrid reader further includes a lateral protective printed circuit which includes a superposition of unitary printed circuits, the plane of superposition of the unitary printed circuits being parallel to the plane of the upper protective printed circuit and to the plane of the lower protective printed circuit.

Hybrid transaction card reader system

A docking station for an electronic payment terminal includes a docking surface having a guide for guiding the terminal towards a connection position with the docking station. The docking station further includes a first locking element cooperating with a second complementary locking element of the terminal. The first locking element is mobile between: a deployed position in which the first locking element protrudes relative to the docking surface and cooperates with the second locking element, and a retracted position in which the first locking element does not cooperate with the second locking element. The guide includes a front wall extending from a front edge of the docking surface and facing a front face of the terminal. The front wall bears at least one positioning hook cooperating with a recess made on the front face of the terminal so as to prevent lifting of the terminal in the connection position.

A locking bracket for locking a digital device preliminarily inserted into a casing. The locking bracket includes an internal face for receiving at least one portion of the digital device and an external locking face. A flexible printed circuit board is proposed. The flexible printed circuit board includes at least one soldering element possessing a soldering face, accessible from a first face of the flexible printed circuit board, and a heating face, accessible from a second face of the flexible printed circuit board. A computer has a mounting arrangement for enabling the same general internal space of the computer to be used either as a drive bay or as an expansion card slot. In one embodiment, the drive unit is mountable on the mounting arrangement by means of a mounting tray. In this case, the tray is preferably formed such that is serves as a blanking plate for blanking the access aperture provided in a housing wall of the computer for accessing external connectors of an expansion card when the latter is mounted in the mounting arrangement. The same fixing element used for securing the expansion card to the housing wall can also be used to secure the mounting tray to that wall.

To facilitate the user installation of a drive unit, such as a disc drive unit or CD-ROM unit, in a desktop computer, a mounting arrangement is provided that does not require the use of any tools. The mounting arrangement employs two side members provided with studs that engage in side fixing holes standardly provided in a drive unit. With the side members placed about the drive unit, the resultant assembly can then be slid into position in a support structure along guides that also serve to hold the side members against the drive unit. In a preferred embodiment, the side members take the form of a wall element made of a plastics material, and a U-shaped metal mounting element that clips over the wall element. On one side the mounting element has a projection that forms one of the side-member studs engaging in the fixing holes of the drive unit; on its other side, the mounting element has a resilient contact arm providing a grounding connection to the support structure.
