The ground anchor assembly comprises a collar, a T-post, a guy line, and a guy line attachment member. The guy line attachment member is coupled to the guy line. The collar comprises a perimeter wall and an adjustment member. The perimeter wall defines an internal void adapted to receive a portion of the T-post such that when the T-post is positioned within the internal void, the perimeter wall surrounds a perimeter of the portion of the T-post and restrains rotational movement of the collar relative to the T-post. The adjustment member is moveable from a first position to a second position, the first position being one in which a distal end of the adjustment member does not contact the T-post, the second position being one in which distal end contacts the T-post between adjacent stubs of the T-post.

Devices, systems and methods for endovascular temperature control

A portable system for managing the temperature of a patient during transport includes a heater/cooler configured to be in fluid communication with a heat transfer catheter or a heat transfer surface pad; a pump for circulating heat exchange fluid; an alternating current power supply; and a processor configured to indicate if the alternating current power supply connection to the source of alternating current is interrupted. A rechargeable battery may be configured to provide power to the system when the alternating power supply is not connected to a source of alternating current. If the system is powered on and the connection to the alternating current source is interrupted, the system may automatically switch to receiving power from the rechargeable battery. The processor may alert an operator of the interruption of the connection to the alternating current source and indicate to the operator the amount of energy remaining in the battery.

Transport battery for use with portable thermal management system

An intelligent rechargeable battery pack having a battery management system for monitoring and controlling the charging and discharging of the battery pack is described. The battery management system includes primary and secondary protection circuits for monitoring the charging and discharging of the battery. Individual battery cells forming the battery pack are connected by a main bus to a connector for connection to a battery charger or a device to be powered, and the main bus may be interrupted by a switch controlled by the battery management system to prevent damage to the battery during charging or discharging of the battery.

A device for winding a length of wire into one or more flat coils, with the device having a winding component onto which the wire is wound, a wire guide to contain the coils of the wire into a single width flat coil, and a drive engagement component adapted to be engaged by a drive means such that the drive means operates the winding component of the device. In one embodiment of the device the winding component is a cylindrical capstan having a receiving slot adapted to engage the end of the wire, the drive means is an electric hand drill, the drive engagement component is a shaft integrated with and extending from the capstan and adapted to be inserted into the chuck of the electric hand drill, and the wire guide has two spaced apart parallel members adapted to accommodate the capstan in the space between them, whereby the parallel members guide the coil of the wire into a single width flat coil onto the capstan as the capstan is rotated by the electric drill.
