A mobile computer workstation for use with a computer network is disclosed. The workstation can include a wheeled chassis having a vertical beam that supports a horizontal work surface. An input device tray is located at a front side of the work surface and a bracket located at a rear side of the work surface mounts a display screen to the workstation above and off the work surface. A power unit including a battery charger and a battery is mounted to the chassis and supplies power to the display screen.

An all weather housing assembly for protection of electrical components includes a first housing having an open end and defining a first compartment for receipt therein of electronic components; a cover attached to the first housing for enclosing the first compartment, the cover further including a mounting structure for receiving and retaining a power source which structure is mounted on a side of the cover that is exterior to the enclosed first compartment; and a second housing having an open end and defining a second compartment that is dimensioned to cover and protect a power source when received and retained by the mounting structure of the cover, the second housing being connected to the first housing independent of the attachment of the cover to the first housing.

A mobile workstation for use with a computer network. The mobile workstation may include a medical monitoring device, a radio transceiver in communication with the medical monitoring device operable for receiving and sending data to the computer network, a display screen, and a wheeled chassis for mounting the medical monitoring device, the radio transceiver and the display screen.

A rotating exercise device is provided. An extendable channel unit such as molding unit () has a pair of telescopically arranged relatively extendable conduits () with a conductor () interconnected in conductive relation between the conduits, with an intermediate section () of the conductor effective to accommodate the relative extension of the conduits. The intermediate section may include a sinuous configuration () or expandable coils (). The channel unit may be installed along a wall () or other surface for decoratively covering the installation of the conductor for connection with an operated device (). The channel unit may be installed into an extendable ramp () when installed along a floor, such as within a doorway (). Two joints () provide freedom of rotation about the conductor axis on opposed sides of an angled joint () that provides freedom of rotation about an axis disposed at a 45&#xb0; angle to the axis of the conductor. This combination permits the unit to be configured to pass around both inside and outside corners, as well as to form upward and downward right angles along a straight wall.

A mobile workstation includes an adjustable-height horizontal tray and a pull-out keyboard tray mounted beneath the horizontal tray to support a keyboard. A device, such as computer terminal, mounts to the horizontal tray through installation into a vertically-mounted docking station mounted to the horizontal tray, or through a mounting bracket mounted adjacent to the horizontal tray. A tiltable bracket mounts the docking station to the horizontal tray, and a clutch assembly allows the angle of the bracket and the angle of the docking station and the computer terminal, to be adjusted to avoid glare on the terminal's display screen. With a mounting bracket, a tiltable bracket mounts a vertically-mounted display screen to the top of the horizontal tray. The mobile workstation also carries a power unit including an extended-life battery and a battery charger that connects to an AC power supply to charge the conventional battery pack connected to the computer terminal as well as the extended-life battery carried on the mobile workstation. When the computer terminal is stored in the mobile workstation, the wireless computer terminal can communicate through a radio transceiver in communication with a computer network, such a distributed patient-care computer network. Furthermore, a mobile workstation with a docking station includes a spring-mounted vertically-movable leveling tray that allows the computer terminal to be easily removed from the docking station using a push-down-and-tilt motion. An electronic and/or key lock selectively prevents vertical movement of the leveling tray to secure the computer terminal within the docking station.

A wireless network access point enclosure sized to fit in place of a panel in a standard hanging acoustical-panel ceiling. The enclosure includes a sealed pan that houses the network access point outside the room space, typically in the building space above the ceiling. The enclosure is designed to meet fire code regulations that apply to devices placed within a building's air-handling space. The enclosure includes a ventilated cover that mounts to the pan. The cover is substantially flush with the ceiling when attached to the pan. Only a small antenna, which mounts to a receptacle in the cover, extends into the room space. Power and communications cables for the network access point may be routed above the ceiling and through a cable receptacle in the pan. The enclosure also includes a plate within the enclosure for mounting the network access point and maintaining a ventilation space between the device and the enclosure pan. The ventilated cover and the mounting plate keep the network access point from overheating while the sealed pan forms a substantially sealed smoke barrier that meets fire code regulations.
