An automated method that generates crowd-sourced event notifications includes: retrieving sensor data from mobile devices; detecting events based on the retrieved sensor data; and generating a set of summary nodes based on the events, where each summary node is associated with multiple events. A system that generates crowd-sourced event notifications includes: multiple mobile devices, each having at least one sensor, each mobile device identifies events using calculations based on sensor data and generates a notification for each identified event; and an analytics server that generates a set of summary nodes based on the identified events, each summary node associated with multiple events. An automated method that generates event notifications includes: retrieving sensor data; calculating a set of statistical values based on the sensor data; comparing the statistical values to at least one threshold; and generating an event notification when the threshold is exceeded by any of the statistical values.

Crowd-sourced event identification that maintains source privacy

Fully automated modular analytical systems with integrated instrumentation for analysis of biopolymer samples, such as nucleic acids, proteins, peptides and carbohydrates, are provided. Analytical methods of detection and analysis, such as mass spectrometry, radiolabeling, mass tags, chemical tags and fluorescence chemiluminescence, are integrated with robotic technology and automated chemical reaction systems to provide a high-throughput, accurate Automated Process Line (APL).

A football-like projectile having a central longitudinal bore includes a weighted insert in the bore to concentrate the weight of the projectile interiorly of the ball about the longitudinal axis. The insert is provided with a longitudinal flow passage to permit air flow hrough the insert and the bore when the ball is in flight.

A football or other projectile is stabilized in flight by weighted material that responds to spinning of the football about its major axis by moving radially outward to become evenly distributed about that axis. In a preferred embodiment, two annular tubes, concentrically disposed about the major axis, encircle the ball at opposite sides of a plane containing the minor axis of the ball. The weighted material, in the form of beads, liquid, etc., is contained within the tubes and is flung radially outward as the ball spins.

A lure structure formed of a transparent flexible material and designed to contain and display a bait fish, such as a shrimp, on the interior thereof wherein the chamber and associated housing are structured and dimensioned to allow free movement of the bait fish within the chamber and further include an apertured construction so as to allow free passage of water through the housing and into the chamber. The housing is slidedly connected to a supporting fishing line so as to allow sliding movement along a predetermined length thereof and substantially adjacent to a hook assembly.
