In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides systems and methods enabling unmanned vehicle navigation and delivery including an integrated roofing accessory integrated into a roof, the integrated roofing accessory including at least one antenna and a computing module in communication with the at least one antenna, where the computing module, when software is executed, is configured to transmit, via the at least one antenna: electronic operating instructions to at least one unmanned vehicle, and network messages related to the at least one unmanned vehicle to at least one additional integrated roofing accessory. A landing member is on the roof and the electronic operating instructions comprise: at least one landing instruction configured to cause the at least one unmanned vehicle to land on the landing member, and at least one take-off instruction configured to cause the at least one unmanned vehicle to take off from the landing member.

Integrated roofing accessories for unmanned vehicle navigation and methods and systems including the same

Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable automated roof planning using a processor. The processor receives a digital image of a roof of a structure and models each roof plane of the roof to generate a roof model. The processor determines dimensions of each roof plane based on the roof model. The processor retrieves roofing accessory data from a database, the roofing accessory data solar roofing accessory part identifiers and solar roofing accessory part performance characteristics for solar roofing accessories. The processor simulates multiple candidate roof layouts based on the dimensions of each roof plan and the solar roofing accessory parts and determines a utilization prediction for each candidate layout. Based on each utilization prediction, the processor determines a particular roof layout having selected solar roofing accessory parts, and generates a solar roof design, including a list of materials, for the particular roof layout.

Methods for designing, manufacturing, installing, and/or maintenance of roofing accessories and systems of use thereof

In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a system of integrated roofing accessories on a plurality of roofs, where at least one integrated roofing accessory on each roof may include: i) at least one transceiver configured to produce electromagnetic communication signals using electromagnetic communication protocols, ii) at least one dielectric antenna in electrical communication with the at least one transceiver for emitting the electromagnetic communication signals according to the at least one electromagnetic communication protocol, iii) an edge computing device having at least one processor and at least one non-transitory storage with software to operate the edge computing device in communication with the at least one transceiver, and iv) at least one power supply. The software is configured to cause, when executed, the integrated roofing accessories to form an electromagnetic communication network using the electromagnetic communication signals which communicates with at least one computing device.

Systems of wireless communication-enabled integrated roofing accessories and methods of use thereof

Systems and methods of the present disclosure include controlling directions of communications including a processor to obtain performance data of an integrated roofing accessory installed on a roof, the integrated roofing accessory including an antenna and a transceiver to enable fifth generation cellular networking (5G) protocol communication with a 5G-enabled device, and an adjustable attachment to orient or position the antenna. The performance data is indicative of 5G signal performance between the integrated roofing accessory and the 5G-enabled device. A signal performance affecting condition is determined using the performance data, where the signal performance affecting condition is a reduced signal performance of a 5G signal beam of the antenna. An improved orientation or an improved position of the antenna is determined to remedy the signal performance affecting condition. The adjustable attachment is controlled to physically adjust the orientation of the position to achieve the improved orientation or position.

Systems utilizing integrated roofing accessories for controlling directions of communications and methods of use thereof

Systems and methods of the present disclosure include controlling directions of communications including a processor to obtain performance data of an integrated roofing accessory installed on a roof, the integrated roofing accessory including an antenna and a transceiver to enable fifth generation cellular networking (5G) protocol communication with a 5G-enabled device, and an adjustable attachment to orient or position the antenna. The performance data is indicative of 5G signal performance between the integrated roofing accessory and the 5G-enabled device. A signal performance affecting condition is determined using the performance data, where the signal performance affecting condition is a reduced signal performance of a 5G signal beam of the antenna. In some embodiments, systems and methods are configured to determine that a signal strength of a fifth generation cellular networking (5G) protocol communication is below a threshold strength value. The 5G protocol communication includes a millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency transmission between a computing device and a first integrated roofing accessory of a first roof. It is determined that a second integrated roofing accessory of a second roof would have an improved signal strength is indicative of a better line of sight to the computing device, and the first integrated roofing accessory and the second integrated roofing accessory are part of a 5G network. At least one of transferring the 5G protocol communication to the second integrated roofing accessory from the first integrated roofing accessory of the first roof, or including the second integrated roofing accessory into the 5G protocol communication with the computing device is performed.

Systems of 5G-enabled integrated roofing accessories and mehtods of use thereof

In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a system of integrated roofing accessories on a plurality of roofs, where at least one integrated roofing accessory on each roof may include: i) at least one transceiver configured to produce millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency signals using fifth generation cellular networking (5G) protocols, ii) at least one dielectric antenna in electrical communication with the at least one transceiver for emitting the mmWave frequency signals according to the at least one 5G protocol, iii) an edge computing device having at least one processor and at least one non-transitory storage with software to operate the edge computing device in communication with the at least one transceiver, and iv) at least one power supply. The software is configured to cause, when executed, the integrated roofing accessories to form a 5G network using the mmWave frequency signals which communicates with at least one computing device.
