A handheld surgical tool includes a handle, an instrument shaft, and a navigation device, which includes at least one sensor unit for sensing positional data, a computing unit configured to determine a position in space based on signals of the sensor unit, at least one set key and a position memory configured to store a data set for a position upon activation of the at least one set key.
