A product capable of absorbing unwanted odors and unpleasant flavors, is sealed from said odors and flavors by being sealingly overwrapped with a film comprising an oriented film of a blend of polypropylene and a polymerized polyterpene selected from the group consisting of polymerized d-limonene, polymerized beta-pinene, polymerized synthetic approximation of d-limonene and beta-pinene and mixtures thereof.

Multi-layer barrier film

An oriented, multi-layer polymer film laminate having a core of isotactic polypropylene, an outside skin layer of isotactic polypropylene containing an anti-blocking agent and an inside heat sealable skin layer containing an anti-blocking agent and a coefficient of friction-reducing amount of a silicone oil.

One side heat sealable polypropylene film

An oriented, heat-sealable polypropylene film is provided which possesses a low coefficient of friction, excellent anti-static behavior and good optical clarity.

Oriented, heat sealable multi-layered film

Multi-layer structures, such as films of low coefficient of friction also having antistick characteristics over a wide temperature range during heat-sealing are disclosed. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the films comprise an amide-containing polypropylene base layer and two heat sealable skin layers of a low stereoregularity polyolefin and microcrystalline wax. Methods for forming such structures are also disclosed.
