An electric motor assembly for a motor vehicle and brake has an engine cartridge with a stator connected to an engine casing. The engine cartridge also has a rotor connected to a wheel shaft. The assembly also has a disc of a disc brake connected to the wheel shaft. The assembly also has a disc brake caliper arranged astride the disc and connected to the engine casing.

A simulation device for an electrically controlled braking apparatus of a vehicle with an electric motor having a motorized axis slant in relation to the translation axis of the strut of the pedal group, a contrast body connected to the strut, a main abutment wall and an elastic contrast element, disposed between the main abutment wall and the contrast body. The method of applying the contrast action to the pedal provides for activating, when the flattening action of the pedal by the user is terminated, the motor to achieve an inactive configuration in which the useful distance of maximum compression of the elastic contrast element is minimal.

Electro-hydraulic actuator for brake

A disc brake caliper comprising a suspension side portion, facing an associable suspension to support said caliper, a wheel side portion facing a wheel being rotatably integrally associable to a brake disc, said wheel side and suspension side portion comprising cylinders suitable to house pistons facing pads for breaking the brake disc, and being connected by at least one connecting bridge extending astride the brake disc. The caliper comprises at least one casing being associable to a side surface of said caliper opposite a housing recess of the brake disc, such as to define a duct extending between said suspension side and wheel side portion to convey a cooling air steam, near thrust portion of the pads being affected by the relative pistons.

The present invention relates to a brake piston with reduced transmission of heat from the disk to the brake fluid. In particular, the present invention relates to a disk-brake piston () characterized in that it comprises a cup () having a skirt () and a head portion (), and a tubular insert () housed in the cup, a space for cooling air being defined between the outer surface of the tubular insert () and the inner surface of the skirt () of the cup ().

A master cylinder suitable for a vehicle braking system has an unusual capability to supply quantities of fluid and fluid pressures at its output in differentiated manner in dependence on the braking stage, preventing long transitory stages between an approach stage and an actual braking stage. The cylinder comprises a cylinder body having a first chamber and a second chamber provided inside. The first chamber is in operative communication with at least one braking member and houses a first piston. The second chamber, which has larger transverse dimensions than the first chamber, is in operative communication with the first chamber and houses a second piston. Ducts are provided and put the first chamber and the second chamber into communication during the approach stage. The ducts house a low-pressure valve which is open during the approach stage and closed during the actual braking stage.

A disk-brake unit which has an unusual ability to operate safely as well as a simple construction and which is intended to be fitted in vehicles, comprises a caliper body extending astride a braking disk, at least one pair of pads facing the disk on opposite sides and restrained on the caliper body by suspension on a pin, each pad having a support plate for a friction lining, and stop region formed in the plates and facing respective complementary stop section formed in the caliper body for restraining the pads in a direction tangential to the disk, the unit further comprising between the pin and the at least one pair of pads, a single element for constantly maintaining the suspension of the pads on the pin and simultaneously constantly urging each pad both towards the complementary stop section and away from the braking disk.
