The present invention relates to an annular barrier for providing zonal isolation in an annulus downhole between a well tubular metal structure and another well tubular metal structure or a wall of a borehole, comprising a tubular metal part configured to be mounted as part of the well tubular metal structure and having an inside and an axial extension along the well tubular metal structure, an expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part, each end of the expandable metal sleeve being connected with the tubular metal part, defining an expandable space between the expandable metal sleeve and the tubular metal part, and an expansion opening in the tubular metal part through which fluid enters in order to expand the expandable metal sleeve, wherein the annular barrier further comprises a valve unit having a first position and a second position; in the second position for leading pressurised fluid from the expansion opening to the expandable space for expanding the expandable metal sleeve, the valve unit comprises a first aperture in fluid communication with the expansion opening, a second aperture in fluid communication with the annulus and a third aperture in fluid communication with the expandable space. The invention also relates to a downhole system comprising the annular barrier and the well tubular metal structure.

Annular barrier with valve unit

The present invention relates to an annular barrier for providing zonal isolation in an annulus downhole between a well tubular metal structure and another well tubular metal structure or a wall of a borehole, comprising a tubular metal part configured to be mounted as part of the well tubular metal structure, the tubular metal part having an outer face, an opening and an axial extension along the well tubular metal structure, and an expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part, the first expandable metal sleeve having a circumferential groove, a first end and a second end, each end of the expandable metal sleeve being connected with the outer face of the tubular metal part, wherein the annular barrier further comprises an anchoring element arranged in the circumferential groove, the anchoring element comprising a first anchoring part at least partly overlapping a second anchoring part in a radial direction perpendicular to the axial extension so that an inner face of the first anchoring part at least partly abuts an outer face of the second anchoring part. Moreover, the present invention relates to a downhole completion system.

Annular barrier

A downhole expandable tubular for expansion in a well downhole to abut against an inner face of a well tubular metal structure or borehole, includes at least first and second circumferential edges on the outer face, forming a circumferential groove, a sealing unit arranged in the circumferential groove. The sealing unit includes a post-transition metal material, the sealing unit has an annular sealing element and a retaining element, and at least the retaining element comprises the post-transition metal material, and the annular sealing element is made of elastomer, natural or synthetic rubber, or a polymer.

Downhole expandable tubular

A downhole sealing assembly for providing a seal in a borehole between first and second faces of a completion component includes an annular sealing element for arrangement on the second face and having a base part, first and second annular flanges extending from the base part, forming a cavity between the first and second annular flanges, the first annular flange being arranged closest to the first face and having a projection for abutment to the second face; and a metal ring-shaped element arranged in the cavity, the metal ring-shaped element having a first ring face forming a first indentation for receiving the first annular flange. The downhole sealing assembly further comprises a first spring element arranged in the cavity between the first annular flange and the metal ring-shaped element in order to press the first annular flange to abut against the second face.

The present invention relates to a downhole valve device for providing access to a hydrocarbon reservoir, comprising a tubular element having a wall, an inner face and an outer face, the tubular element having a first through-bore and a plurality of second through-bores in the wall extending from the inner face to the outer face, and a sleeve abutting the inner face and being displaceable along the inner face between a first state in which the sleeve covers the first and second through-bores and a second state in which the sleeve uncovers the first and second through-bores, wherein a burst element is arranged in the first through-bore and an acid-dissolvable plug is arranged in each second through-bore. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a downhole completion system for completing a well in low pressure zone and a downhole completion method for completing a well.

Downhole valve device of a downhole completion system

The present invention relates to a downhole expandable metal tubular to be expanded in a well from a first outer diameter to a second outer diameter to abut against an inner face of a casing or borehole, the downhole expandable metal tubular having an axial extension, a circumference and an outer face, wherein the downhole expandable metal tubular is of metal with at least one first integral circumferential sealing element of metal as part of the outer face, providing the downhole expandable metal tubular with a first circumferential projection having a fourth height, and the at least one first integral circumferential sealing element at least partly defines a cavity having an opening. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a downhole expandable metal tubular assembly further comprising at least one end tubular, a patch for being expanded within a well tubular metal structure for sealing off leaks, perforations or apertures in the well tubular metal structure, and an annular barrier to be expanded in an annulus between a well tubular structure and an inner face of a borehole or a casing downhole for providing zone isolation between a first zone and a second zone of the borehole.

The present invention relates to a downhole assembly for permanently sealing off a control line controlling a well component of a well tubular metal structure prior to plug and abandonment of a well having a top, comprising a first part of a tubular line, a second part of the tubular line, a downhole closure unit arranged between the first part and the second part of the tubular line and comprising a first element comprising a first opening, a second opening and fluid communication channel between the first opening and the second opening, the first opening being arranged closer to the top than the second opening, the first opening having a first connection to the first part of the tubular line, and the second opening having a second connection to the second part of the tubular line, wherein the first element has a first outer shape in a first state in which the fluid communication channel is open and a second outer shape in a second state in which the fluid communication channel is closed, the second shape being at least partly different from the first outer shape. The invention also relates to a downhole system comprising a well tubular metal structure having an outer face, and the downhole assembly being connected to the outer face and/or the downhole annular barrier. Finally, the invention relates to a method of permanently closing fluid communication in the downhole assembly for permanently sealing off a control line prior to plug and abandonment of a well.

Downhole assembly and annular barrier with downhole assembly

An expandable annular barrier includes a tubular metal part, an expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part, and an expandable space therebetween. The metal sleeve has a first thickness, an expansion opening in the tubular metal part through which fluid enters in order to expand the metal sleeve, and a valve assembly having a first opening fluidly connected with the first zone in the expanded condition of the annular barrier, a second opening fluidly connected with the second zone through a fluid channel between the tubular metal part and the metal sleeve, and a third opening fluidly connected with the expandable space. The fluid channel has an extension along a circumference of the tubular metal part being at least 5% of the circumference of the tubular metal part.

The present invention relates to an annular barrier for providing isolation of a zone in a well having an isolation layer of less than 5 metres, comprising a tubular metal part configured to be mounted as part of a well tubular metal structure, the tubular metal part having an outer face, an opening and an axial extension along the well tubular metal structure, a first expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part, the first expandable metal sleeve having a first thickness, a first end and a second end, the first end of the expandable metal sleeve being connected with the outer face of the tubular metal part, a second expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part, the second expandable metal sleeve having substantially the same thickness as the first expandable metal sleeve, and the second expandable metal sleeve having a first end connected with the outer face of the tubular metal part and a second end, wherein the annular barrier further comprises a first connecting sleeve having a second thickness being greater than the first thickness, the first connecting sleeve comprises a first sleeve end connected to the second end of the first expandable metal sleeve and a second sleeve end connected with the second end of the second expandable metal sleeve, and the annular barrier comprises an annular space defined between the tubular metal part, the first connecting sleeve and the expandable metal sleeves. The invention also relates to a downhole system comprising a plurality of the annular barriers and the well tubular metal structure.
