A bituminous composition and a process for the preparation of bituminous mixes including at least one bitumen base, at least one compound of general formula Ar1-R—Ar(I), and at least one compound of general formula R—(NH)CONH—X—(NHCO)(NH)—R′(II). The composition is used as road binder, notably for the preparation of bituminous mixes.

Bituminous composition solid at ambient temperature

A bituminous composition comprising at least one bitumen base, at least one compound of general formula (I): Ar1-R—Ar(I), and at least one compound of general formula (II): R—(NH)CONH—X—(NHCO)(NH)—R′(II). The invention also concerns a process for the preparation of said bituminous composition.

Mastic asphalt composition for production of surfacings

The invention relates to the use of a binder, in divided form, that is solid at ambient temperature, including at least one oil selected from a hydrocarbon oil of petroleum or synthetic origin and mixtures of same, and at least one chemical organogelator additive, for the production of asphalt mixes from recycled asphalt mix aggregates. The solid-at-ambient-temperature binder can be used for the production of asphalt mixes obtained from recycled asphalt mix aggregates, said binder including at least one oil selected from a hydrocarbon oil of petroleum or synthetic origin and mixtures of same, at least one pitch and at least one chemical organogelator additive.

Method for the transportation and/or storage of road bitumen

Road bitumen pellets

The disclosure relates to a bituminous composition and to the method of preparation thereof. The bituminous composition includes a bitumen, a first additive including at least one fatty acid ester function, saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, having a hydrocarbon chain with 4 to 36 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by at least one hydroxyl group and a second additive comprising at least one organogelator. The disclosure also relates to the use of a combination of the first and second additives in a bituminous composition, for lowering the dynamic viscosity of a bituminous composition or of a bitumen base at a temperature above or equal to 80&#xb0; C., preferably above 80&#xb0; C., without impairing the consistence of the composition at the temperatures of use. Finally, the disclosure relates to the use of these bituminous compositions in the fields of highway applications, in particular in the manufacture of highway binders, and in the fields of industrial applications.

Bituminous compositions comprising additives having improved thermoreversible properties

A bituminous composition is used as an adhesive binder. The bituminous composition has at least one acidic additive of general formula (I): R&#x2014;(COOH)z in which R is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon-based chain having from 4 to 68 carbon atoms, preferably from 4 to 54 carbon atoms, more preferentially from 4 to 36 carbon atoms and z is an integer ranging from 1 to 4, preferably from 2 to 4.

Use of a bituminous composition as an adhesive binder

The invention relates to a method of making a theremorevsible bituminous composition. The method includes transferring an additive to a bitumen to form a mixture, and stirring the mixture until its appearance is homogenous. The additive can be an organogelator with general formula R&#x2033;&#x2014;(COOH), where R&#x2033; is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated chain having 4 to 68 carbon atoms and z is an integer varying from 2 to 4. The bituminous composition is hard at the temperature of use without increasing its viscosity when hot.

The invention concerns a method for preparing a bitumen base, including the following essential steps: a) introducing a bitumen in a container equipped with mixing means, and bringing the bitumen to a temperature of 120&#xb0; C. to 300&#xb0; C.; b) introducing at least one chemical blowing additive into the container, and mixing, said chemical blowing additive being of general formula Ar1-R&#x2014;Ar2 (I) wherein Ar1 and Ar2 independently of each other represent a benzene ring or a system of condensed aromatic rings of 6 to 20 carbon atoms, substituted by at least one hydroxyl group, and R represents an optionally substituted divalent radical, whereof the main chain comprises 6 to 20 carbon atoms and at least one amide and/or ester group. The invention also concerns a bitumen base obtained by implementing said method, as well as the use of such bitumen bases in road surfacing and industrial applications.
