A vehicle front recognition apparatus includes an imager that captures an image of an environment ahead of a vehicle on the road, an image analyzer that analyzes the image of the environment with artificial intelligence to segment the image areas of the image by classes to which objects captured in the image belong, and a road information acquirer that acquires high-precision map information ahead of the vehicle. The vehicle front recognition apparatus acquires dynamic information that is not included in the high-precision map information from the classes. The image analyzer includes a feeling-of-strangeness area extractor extracting a feeling-of-strangeness area using the classes from the image areas. The vehicle front recognition apparatus further includes a feeling-of-strangeness area verifier that verifies whether the vehicle can pass through the feeling-of-strangeness area and a notifier that notifies a driver when the vehicle cannot pass through the feeling-of-strangeness area.

Vehicle front recognition apparatus and vehicle control unit

A vehicle drive assist apparatus is to be applied to a vehicle. The vehicle drive assist apparatus includes an object recognizer, a risk area setter, and a risk level setter. The object recognizer is configured to recognize an object in front of the vehicle. The risk area setter is configured to, when small objects are around the object, set a risk area including the small objects. The risk level setter is configured to set a risk level for the risk area with respect to the vehicle based on distribution of height information items within the risk area.

Vehicle drive assist apparatus

A surrounding environment around a vehicle is recognized and surrounding environment information is acquired. Traveling control is performed on the vehicle based on the acquired surrounding environment information. When an obstacle expected to hinder traveling of the vehicle is recognized ahead of the vehicle and other vehicles traveling ahead of the vehicle are recognized in an adjacent lane adjacent to a traveling lane where the vehicle is traveling, a movement amount of the obstacle moved due to an effect of a first other vehicle among the other vehicles that travels at a position near the obstacle is detected. An estimated movement amount of the obstacle moved due to an effect of a second other vehicle among the other vehicles that follows the first other vehicle is calculated based on the detected movement amount. The traveling control is performed on the vehicle based on the estimated movement amount.

Vehicle traveling control apparatus

A vehicular camera unit includes a camera housing, an oblique forward-facing camera, and an oblique rearward-facing camera. The camera housing is attached to a side of a vehicle. The oblique forward-facing camera is provided in the camera housing. The oblique rearward-facing camera is provided in the camera housing. The oblique rearward-facing camera is disposed forward of the oblique forward-facing camera and on an outer side of the oblique forward-facing camera in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle.

A parking assist system for a vehicle includes the following elements. A parking space width calculator is configured to calculate a parking space width between objects. A parking width comparator is configured to compare the parking space width with the width of a virtual parking region. A movement trace detector is configured to detect a movement trace within the virtual parking region. A target detector is configured to determine whether a target faces at least one side of the virtual parking region other than the side near the vehicle. A parking priority setter is configured to set a parking priority for the virtual parking region based on a movement trace and an object. A display selector is configured to display parking space candidates based on parking priority and instructs a driver to select a parking space candidate.

Parking assist system

A driving assistance device for a vehicle includes a traveling environment recognizer, a parking space detector, an evaluation value calculator, and a parking space setter. The traveling environment recognizer is configured to recognize traveling environment information related to an outside of the vehicle. The parking space detector is configured to, in a case where the vehicle has entered a parking lot, detect one or more parking spaces available to the vehicle based on the traveling environment information. The evaluation value calculator is configured to calculate one or more evaluation values for the one or more parking spaces, each of the one or more evaluation values including an exit hindrance factor as an evaluation item. The parking space setter is configured to select, with priority, a parking space for parking the vehicle from among the one or more parking spaces. The evaluation value of the parking space is relatively high.

Driving assistance device for vehicle

A parking assist system for a vehicle includes an environment information obtainer, a storage, a parked vehicle detector, a space determiner, and a parking possibility determiner. The storage stores a reference parking width to be used for parking the vehicle. The parked vehicle detector detects a parked vehicle. The space determiner compares a width of a space next to the parked vehicle with the reference parking width and determines whether the width of the space is greater than or equal to the reference parking width. If the width of the space is found to be greater than or equal to the reference parking width, the parking possibility determiner determines whether a target object is detected at a back side of the space. If the target object is not detected, the parking possibility determiner determines that parking in the space is prohibited.

A parking assist system for a vehicle includes an environment information obtainer, a sufficient parking space setter, a parked-vehicle inter-space calculator, a parking capable space setter, and a parking assister. The environment information obtainer obtains environment information around the vehicle. The sufficient parking space setter sets a sufficient parking space for the vehicle by including a parking allowance width on each of left and right sides of the vehicle. The parked-vehicle inter-space calculator calculates a space between parked vehicles, based on the obtained environment information. The parking capable space setter compares the space between the parked vehicles with the sufficient parking space and, when determining the space between the parked vehicles is greater than or equal to the sufficient parking space, sets the space between the parked vehicles to be a parking capable space. The parking assister guides the vehicle to the parking capable space.
