The present invention relates to a linear actuator comprising a console, an outer tube connected to the console, an electric motor, a transmission, and a spindle in connection with the transmission. The linear actuator comprises a spindle nut on the spindle and an inner tube connected to the spindle nut. The spindle nut and the inner tube are guided inside the outer tube. The linear actuator comprises a control box which is connected to the console by means of a snap connection. The linear actuator further comprises an end stop arrangement having an end switch for each direction of movement of the spindle nut. An object underlying the invention is to provide a simpler connection of the control box to the linear actuator. A further object is to provide a less complex construction of the end stop arrangement of a linear actuator. To this end, the control box is connected to the console by means of a snap connection. Further, the linear actuator comprises a sliding element arranged between the spindle nut and the end switches, and where the sliding element is actuated by the spindle nut.

Linear actuator

A linear actuator is described comprising an actuator housing, a driven element moveable at a front end of the linear actuator and a mounting () at a rear end of the linear actuator, wherein the mounting () comprises two arms () and an accommodation space () between the two arms (). The object underlying the invention is to provide a linear actuator which can easily be mounted with its rear mounting. To this end, at least one arm () is provided with a lever () which is rotatable about an axis between an open position and a closed position, wherein in the closed position, an end portion () of the lever () at least partly closes an opening () between the two arms () and in the open position makes the opening () accessible.

The present invention relates to a linear actuator comprising a console (), an outer tube connected to the console, an electric motor, a transmission, and a spindle in connection with the transmission. The linear actuator comprises a spindle nut on the spindle and an inner tube connected to the spindle nut. The spindle nut and the inner tube are guided inside the outer tube. For mounting the linear actuator, a rear end is equipped with a rear mounting () and a front end of the inner tube is equipped with a front mounting. In such a linear actuator the rear mounting should be mounted to the housing in a simple manner. To this end, the console () comprises a first fixing geometry () having a number of first fingers () distributed in the circumferential direction around the axis and the rear mounting () comprises a second fixing geometry () as negative form of the first fixing geometry, wherein the first fixing geometry and the second fixing geometry form an overlapping region.

The present invention relates to a linear actuator () comprising an outer tube () secured to a console and a rear mounting () and a front mounting () for mounting the linear actuator (). The linear actuator () further comprises a motor housing () which constitutes a first part of an actuator housing () The linear actuator () further comprises an inner tube () which at its outermost end is secured to the front mounting () and with its other end is in connection with a spindle nut on a spindle. Through a transmission an electric motor causes the spindle to rotate at which the spindle nut and the inner tube will be moved in an outwards or inwards direction depending on the direction of rotation of the spindle. The spindle nut and the inner tube are guided telescopically in the outer tube. The spindle nut and the inner tube are secured against rotation in the outer tube. Due to the number of components and a large number of assembly operations, the production of this type of linear actuator () is cost-intensive. The invention thus relates to providing a linear actuator () which is more production friendly and cost-efficient. This is achieved according to the invention in that the outer tube () and the console () are cast as a unit which constitutes a base unit (). Thus, both the number of components as well as the number of assembly operations is reduced causing the total cost for manufacturing of the linear actuator () to be reduced considerably.

The actuator () is further furnished with a rear attachment (), which is axially displaceable between defined stops. Actuator

An electrical actuator comprising a housing of plastic with a reversible low voltage motor (), electrical equipment for controlling and supplying the motor with power, where the electrical equipment () is enclosed in an enclosure () of fire resistant material. By this the housing () can be designed according to strength, hygiene and sealing, while fire prevention as a result of defect in the electrical equipment can be limited to the separate enclosure.

A linear actuator comprising a spindle () with a spindle nut (), where the spindle () is driven by an electric motor () via a transmission (), comprising a planetary gear (). The construction is constructed in such a way that the spindle () is lead through the transmission () and is embedded by means of a ball bearing () in connection with a rear mounting (), causing the axial forces to be lead through the transmission () via the spindle () and the ball bearing () to the rear mounting (). This means that the construction is simpler and less voluminous and that the axial forces, moreover, are not transferred to the transmission.

In an actuator, a quick release unit is introduced in a transmission between an activating element and a reversible electric motor for disengaging the activating element () from the electric motor and the part of the transmission () which is disposed from the motor to the quick release unit. This quick release unit comprises two cylindrical coupling parts () provided with axially extending and mutually engaging torque-transferring means (), and where the two coupling parts () are mutually axially displaceable and kept in engagement with each other by a spring (). The two coupling parts may be displaced mutually against the spring () by a release mechanism, so that the torque-transferring connection () between the two coupling parts () is interrupted. The quick release unit may be made compact, and especially in connection with a worm wheel () with a cylindrical part on the side it may be substantially received in the cylindrical part.

An actuator system comprising a housing () having at least one socket () for the insertion of an electrical plug (). The housing () is provided with an arrangement which is capable of retaining an electrical plug, preferably of the Jack, DIN or Minifit type, inserted into said socket, said arrangement comprising a union nut () which may be retained in a position above the opening of the socket (), and which at the same time surrounds the plug (), said union nut () being rotatable between an inoperative position in which the plug () may freely be inserted and removed, and another position which is a locked position, in which the plug () cannot be inserted and, if it is already inserted, cannot be removed.

Actuator system

Actuator system comprising at least one actuator, a control unit, a power supply and an operations panel, where the actuator in a transmission between an activation element () and a reversible electric motor is inserted a quick release unit () for release of the activation element () from the electric motor and the part of the transmission between the motor and the quick release. The actuator comprises at least one electrical switch (), activated with the quick release. The signal from the electrical switch(es) () may be used for various purposes, such as triggering a power supply from sleep mode, activating one or more actuators, or activating an external function such as an alarm etc.

Actuator assembly and bed

Actuator comprising of a quick release unit and a means for determining the position of an activation element. With the quick release unit it is possible to release the activation element from the actuator's electric motor and the transmission or, at least part of it, to make a rapid adjustment to the activation element without the motor and transmission. The means typically used for determining the position of the activation element comprises of a potentiometer, an optical or magnetic encoder indirectly driven by the motor. By connecting the instrument for position determination () to the spindle () or the part of the transmission between the quick release and the spindle (), the position of the activation element remains known regardless of whether it is released or connected, or has been released.
