A triggering unit for actuating an elevator braking device, having a triggering base body which can be mounted on an elevator car, a trigger, a contact element and a coupling link via which the contact element can be connected to an elevator braking device, the triggering unit keeps the contact element at a distance from the guide rail in the untriggered state and brings it into frictional contact with the rail in the triggered state, so that the contact element moves along a gap between the triggering base body and the guide rail, carries along the coupling link and causes the elevator braking device to respond automatically due to the movement of the coupling link, wherein the triggering unit can be mounted separately on the elevator car at a distance from the elevator braking device and is connected to the elevator braking device exclusively via the coupling link.

Release unit for actuating an elevator brake device

A triggering unit for actuating an elevator braking device, having a triggering base body, a trigger, a contact device and a coupling link. The contact device comprises a swivel lever and at least two contact elements, the swivel lever being pivotably anchored on one side of the guide rail and bearing a first contact element in the region between its anchoring and the guide rail, wherein the first and the second contact elements are arranged on the swivel lever in such a manner that the swivel lever automatically pulls itself against the guide rail under the influence of the forces occurring between the contact elements and the guide rail in the triggered state, and the swivel lever is anchored to the triggering base body such that it executes a movement which generates tension or pressure at the coupling link, so that the coupling link actuates the elevator braking device.

Triggering unit for actuating an elevator braking device

A braking device for an elevator with a rail-guided car, which encompasses a guide rail and holds a braking element in position on one side of the guide rail and holds another braking element in position on the opposite side of the guide rail, wherein at least one of the braking elements is held in its standby position by a switchable retaining magnet against the force of an automatic actuator. The braking element is automatically driven in between the basic body and the guide rail, if the car moves at the point in time at which the braking element abuts against the guide rail. The retaining magnet is equipped with an air gap reducing agent, which reduces or eliminates an air gap between the retaining magnet and the braking element such that the retaining magnet keeps the braking element magnetically trapped again, as soon as it is switched accordingly.

Braking device with automatic releasability in all operating situations

An actuation device for keeping the pushbutton switch activated and deactivated remotely. The actuation device includes a plunger which can be brought by external probing from a standby position, in which it does not switch the pushbutton switch, to an active position, in which it keeps the pushbutton switch actuated. The actuation device has a remotely controllable linear drive, a return spring and a return actuator and is designed in such a way that the plunger can be coupled to the return actuator by the remotely controllable linear drive, which is preferably driven by a Bowden cable, under tension of the return spring, wherein after deactivation of the linear drive, the plunger is pressed by the return spring into a position more remote from the pushbutton switch, thereby entraining the plunger into its standby position.

The invention relates to an overspeed governor for a lifting gear comprising a sheave driven by a overspeed governor cable and a brake for braking the sheave, wherein the brake comprises at least one eccentric piece, mounted on the sheave in a pivoting manner, wherein the eccentric piece is mounted on a first centrifugal weight in a pivoting manner and mounted on a second centrifugal weight in a pivoting manner, wherein, in the event of a displacement of the first and second centrifugal weights due to centrifugal force, the first and the second centrifugal weights pivot the eccentric piece, the brake comprising a reset unit having a spring system which pulls the centrifugal weights in the direction of the undeflected position thereof, wherein the spring system has a first spring constant up to a switching speed, the spring system has a second spring constant from the electric switching speed of the sheave and the second spring constant is greater than the first spring constant.

Speed limiter for a lifting gear having brake actuated by centrifugal force

An elevator with a brake device for braking a car and/or keeping it stationary on at least one braking rail. The brake device has at least two brake shoes situated opposite from each other, and at least one brake clamp with two clamp arms for opening and closing clamp jaws acting on the brake shoes. In certain embodiments, only one of the clamp arms is connected to the car in pivoting fashion via a bearing with a pivot axle that is affixed to the car, oriented parallel to the direction of travel. In certain embodiments, the brake clamp is supported on the car in such a way that the clamp jaws, by pivoting together in the same direction, are able to follow a movement that is forced on a brake shoe due to local position deviations of the associated braking rail.

Elevator with brake device in the manner of a clamp brake

An elevator system with an elevator car, elevator en guide rails, at least one braking rail, and a brake mechanism and/or safety gear that determines the elevator car movement when activated and in turn has at least one brake block that cooperates with the braking rail. The active surface of this brake block that comes into contact with the braking rail functioning as the brake lining is at least one welding bead whose surface hardness is greater than surface hardness of the braking rail. A method for manufacturing such an elevator brake block includes welding at least two welding beads on a brake lining support composed of a weldable, preferably low-alloyed steel, which constitutes the brake lining that is brought into frictional contact with the braking rail during operation.
