This application provides an example delay measurement method and an example network device. The method includes receiving, by a first network device, a first service flow. The method also includes determining, by the first network device, a first delay value based on a first measurement code block in the first service flow. The first delay value is a time difference between a first moment at which the first measurement code block is detected in the first network device and a second moment at which the first measurement code block is detected in the first network device.

Determining delay based on a measurement code block

A method of data processing is applied to a communications device including a first sublayer. A physical sublayer is added above a physical coding sublayer (PCS) of a physical layer, and the physical sublayer is connected to media independent interfaces (xMIIs) with different Ethernet rates. Data signals from different media access control clients (MAC) are interleaved using the physical sublayer. Then, a tx_cmd command is used to instruct the PCS to correspondingly encode an xMII signal. Finally, an encoded xMII signal is sent through a port. According to this method, an encoding function of the PCS may continue to be used, to decouple interleaving from encoding and perform the interleaving through an xMII interface. In this case, port channelization can be implemented for ports with multiple rates, and transmission of a high-priority service is ensured when there is an excessively large quantity of service flows in a transmission process.

Method and apparatus for port channelization at physical layer

A cell reselection method includes generating, by a radio access network device, cell reselection information, wherein the cell reselection information includes an identifier of at least one carrier frequency and an identifier of a network slice supported by each of the at least one carrier frequency. The cell reselection method further includes sending, by the radio access network device, the cell reselection information to a terminal device, wherein the cell reselection information is useable by the terminal device for cell reselection.

The method includes: determining, by a first node, first duration based on a first downlink transmission time interval and a second downlink receiving time interval; determining, by the first node, second duration based on a first uplink transmission time interval and a second uplink receiving time interval; and calculating, by the first node, an uplink and downlink latency difference between the first node and the second node based on the first duration and the second duration. According to the embodiments of the present invention, costs for measuring an asymmetric uplink and downlink latency can be reduced.

This application provides a method and device for transparently transmitting a service frequency, where the method includes: determining, by a first device, first service frequency information Xn, where the first service frequency information Xn is used to indicate an amount of n-bit first service data that is sent by the first device within first statistical duration, and a sending frequency of the first device is used as a reference for the first statistical duration; and encapsulating, by the first device, the first service frequency information Xn into a first S/T bit code block, inserting the first S/T bit code block into a data stream of the first service data, and sending the data stream of the first service data to a second device.
