Systems and techniques that facilitate backend quantum runtimes are provided. In various embodiments, a system can comprise a backend receiver component that can access a computer program provided by a client device, wherein the computer program is configured to indicate a quantum computation. In various aspects, the system can further comprise a backend runtime manager component that can host the computer program by instantiating a backend classical computing resource. In various instances, the backend classical computing resource can orchestrate both classical execution of the computer program and quantum execution of the quantum computation indicated by the computer program.

In general, embodiments of the present invention relate to conference management. Specifically, sequentially scheduled conferences (e.g., conference calls) are determined for a conference participant. The connection details (e.g., call-in details) for the second of the two conferences are retrieved. If the conference is not over when the second conference is scheduled to begin, a connection is initiated with the second conference using the connection details while maintaining a connection to the first conference.

For smart polling frequency in datastores by a processor device in a computing environment, individual polling operations are performed for refreshing each one of the datastores according to polling frequencies. Each one of the polling frequencies depends on recent system activity and each one of the datastores. Each of the polling frequencies are dynamically adjusted for each one of the datastores.

Techniques are described for distributed placement of a request on one of a plurality of deployment nodes. Embodiments receive a request specifying resource requirements for instantiating the request, and transmit at least an indication of the resource requirements to the plurality of deployment nodes. An indication of suitability is then received from at least two of the plurality of deployment nodes, the indication of suitability describing a suitability of the respective deployment node for instantiating the request. Embodiments select one of the at least two deployment nodes based on the indications of suitability, and transmit the request to the selected deployment node for instantiation.
