Gear pump with intermeshing gearwheels enclosed by a housing with bearing journals on shaft axes projecting laterally from the gear wheels mounted in the housing by slide bearings each having a slide bearing length, each having a lubrication pocket with radial expansion. The lubrication pocket is spaced from a gear-side end face of the respective slide bearing by a first distance, having a first bar with a first bar width with axial expansion corresponding to a slide bearing surface. The lubrication pocket is spaced apart by a second distance from the bearing end face opposite the gear end face. A second bar with a second bar width with axial extension corresponds to a slide bearing surface, a bore leads through the slide bearing and communicates with the lubrication pocket at an injection point. The bore is operatively connected to a conveying device for conveying lubricating medium into the lubrication pocket.

Gear pump with intermeshing gear wheels enclosed by a housing with bearing journals arranged on shaft axes, each projecting laterally from the gear wheels, which are mounted in the housing by means of slide bearings, having a slide bearing length, the slide bearings being lubricated with pumped medium. The invention is characterized in that a filling pocket with radial expansion is incorporated in each of the slide bearings in the region of a pump pressure side, the filling pocket being spaced from a gear-side end face of the respective slide bearing by a distance, so that a bar with a bar width with axial expansion corresponding to a slide bearing surface is formed, and in that a lubrication groove with a tampering cross-section is provided in each of the slide bearings, the lubricating groove starting from an end on the gearwheel side towards a slide bearing end and starting at the filling pocket on the gearwheel side and communicating therewith.

Gear pump with meshing gears enclosed by a pump housing, with bearing journals arranged on longitudinal axes and each projecting laterally away from the gears, wherein at least one of the bearing journals has, at least over part of its axial extension, a bearing journal diameter that lies in the range of 90% to 100% of a root diameter of the toothing of the associated gear. A toothing width (b) is at least twice the dimension of a distance (a) between the longitudinal axes, the toothing width (b) being an extension of the gears parallel to the longitudinal axes.

Gearwheel pump, having a housing with at least two intermeshing gears with shafts supported by slide bearings lubricated with pumping medium (M) fed from a suction side to a pressure side, a return duct which leads pumping medium which flows outward through the plain bearing back to the suction side, and a valve () having a stationary part and a moveable part (). The valve () has a setting characteristic which runs, as a first approximation, linearly at least in one region, wherein the setting characteristic is defined by a differential pressure (&#x394;p) across the valve as a function of a setting path (x) in the valve () thereby significantly improving capability for setting the pressure in the transition region between the plain bearing and a dynamic seal of a driveshaft which is guided outward.

An NMR spectrometer comprising an NMR magnet system () disposed in a helium tank of a cryostat and an NMR probe head () disposed in a room temperature bore of the cryostat, which contains a cooled RF resonator () for receiving NMR signals from a sample to be investigated, and a cooled pre-amplifier (), wherein the NMR probe head () is cooled by a common multi-stage compressor-operated refrigerator (), wherein the refrigerator () comprises a cold head and several heat exchangers () at different temperature levels, wherein the refrigerator () is disposed at a spatial separation from the cryostat in a separate, evacuated and thermally insulated housing () and wherein at least one cooling circuit with cooling lines, which are thermally insulated by a transfer line () is disposed between the housing () containing the heat exchangers () and the NMR probe head (), is characterized in that additional cooling lines to an LNtank () or radiation shield () disposed in the cryostat and surrounding the helium tank are provided, and the refrigerator () also cools the LNtank () or the radiation shield (). The inventive NMR spectrometer comprises a simple and inexpensive device for matching the holding time of LNto that of LHe through cooling the LNtank using the refrigerator provided for cooling the NMR probe head and without great expense.
