A mounting devicefor producing all-steel card clothingswith improved mounting quality. The mounting devicecomprises a guide arrangementfor guiding the profile wire. The guide arrangementmay comprise, for example, an angle adjustment arrangementcomprising two brake jaws. The mounting devicehas at least one longitudinal axis, about which the guide arrangementcan be pivoted. The guide arrangementcan be pivoted manually, with the use of a motor or by spring force. In addition, the guide arrangementand the angle adjustment arrangement, respectively, can be adjusted in linear direction, and horizontally and vertically in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the profile wire. Optionally, the guide arrangementmay replace a separate brake arrangement as well as a separate alignment arrangement.

Mounting device for producing an all-steel card clothing

A heald body fabricated of a round wire and having a round shank with a flattened intermediate or center section () that is provided with a widened opening () delimited by two legs (). The area (A) of the round cross section of the shank () substantially corresponds to the sum of the cross sectional areas (A, A) of the two legs () of the intermediate section, whereby the heald body has a substantially constant cross-sectional area along its length.

A wedge-shaped receptacle () is provided for packaging felting needles (). The wedge shape is configured in such a manner that the felting needles lie in the receptacle in a mutual lateral engagement, that is, they are held approximately parallel to one another and they firmly clamp one another without their tips abutting against the receptacle body. This, on the one hand, results in a particular protection of the felting needles () during transportation and, on the other hand, results in a simple handling with the lowest danger of injuries.
