A request to query sampled data of a database is obtained. Based on the request, a determination is made as to whether access to the sampled data of the database is to be allowed. To determine whether access to the sampled data of the database is to be allowed, a query domain defined for the query is checked with a data domain defined for the sampled data. Based on determining that access is to be allowed, access to the sampled data, via the query, is allowed.

Controlling access to sampled databases

A computer implemented method for synchronizing a first database with a second database. The method comprises a replication method comprising determining that a first change in the first database fulfils a defined tolerance range in response to detecting that the first change indicates a value of at least one selected attribute of the set of attributes, and determining that a second change in the first database does not fulfil the defined tolerance range in response to detecting that the second change indicates a value of at least one selected attribute of the set of attributes. The replication method further comprises preventing replication of the first change to the second database in response to determining that the first change fulfils the tolerance range, and replicating the second change to the second database in response to determining that the second change does not fulfil the tolerance range.

Conditional replication of data

Visual data transmission by an air-gapped system, including: transmitting, by an air-gapped system comprising at least one first computing device, a visual encoding of data via a display; detecting, during capture of the visual encoding of the data by a second computing device via a camera, an error; generating, by the second computing device in response to the error, and alert; and retransmitting, in response to a user input to the air-gapped system, at least a portion of the visual encoding of the data via the display.
