A cross-linked copolymer is provided, including at least repeating units of poly(alkylene oxide) and at least repeating units of lithium polystyrene-sulfonyl(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (PSTFSILi), as well as the use of such a cross-linked copolymer for preparing a solid polymer electrolyte, a solid polymer electrolyte having the cross-linked copolymer, and a battery, for example a lithium metal polymer (LMP) battery, including the solid polymer electrolyte.

The invention relates to the simultaneous use of a first salt comprising a nitrate anion (NO) and a second salt comprising an anion other than nitrate, at least one of the first and second salts being a lithium salt, as ionic conductivity promoters in a rechargeable lithium-metal-gel battery. The invention also relates to a lithium-gel battery comprising a mixture of said first salt and said second salt, to a non-aqueous gel electrolyte comprising such mixture and to a lithium battery positive electrode comprising said mixture.

The present invention relates to a high energy density lithium metal polymer (LMP) battery comprising a positive electrode that includes a high potential positive electrode active material and a block copolymer of AB or BAB type, A being an ethylene oxide block and B being an anionic polymer block based on lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide.

The invention relates to a BA diblock or BAB triblock copolymer, in which the A block is a non-substituted poly-oxyethylene chain having a mean molecular weight that is no higher than 100 kDa, and the B block is an anionic polymer which can be prepared using one or more monomers selected from among the vinyl monomers and derivatives thereof, said monomers being substituted with a (trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (TFSI) anion. The invention also relates to the uses of such a copolymer, in particular for preparing an electrolyte composition for lithium metal polymer (LMP) batteries.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a completely solid Li-ion battery having a solid state body wherein the battery is assembled in a single step by stacking at least one layer of a powder mix including a positive electrode active material and a solid electrolyte, at least one intermediate layer of a solid electrolyte and at least one layer of a powder mix including a negative electrode active material and a solid electrolyte, and simultaneous sintering of the three layers at a pressure of at least 20 MPa, under pulsating current.
