Low-voltage circuit breaker exhibiting live levers operatively connected to a control device for opening and closing the circuit breaker, fixed live terminals and electric arc extinction chambers, there being provision for the levers, the terminals and an extinction chamber to be enclosed in half-shells constituting a pole, for the half-shells to be made from insulating material and for several poles to be clamped in a supporting frame.

Current switch with moving contacts cooperating with fixed contacts comprising, for each electric phase, a crank, pivoting about a pin, and a link rod, operationally connected to the crank and to the mechanism for opening and closing the switch, there being provision for the contact-carrying levers to be fulcrumed in the lower part to a pin integral with the crank, for, above the pin, the levers to have, on the opposite side to the contacts, seats against which spring means bear, for the opposite ends of the spring means to bear against seats formed at the top on the side of the support of the crank, opposite the fixed contacts.

Current switch with moving contacts

The switch (1) includes a box-shaped housing body which can be installed in a switch cabinet. A switching lever (5) and an additional device (4) are arranged on the front of the housing body, which lever and device can be passed outwards through a door of the switch cabinet. On the front, the housing body has a flat bearing surface (6) of defined size from which the switching lever (5) projects. The additional device (4) has a flat rear which corresponds with the bearing surface (6) and with an opening (3) in the switch cabinet door. Fastening means are furthermore provided, with whose aid the additional device (4, 19, 22, 25, 27, 30) or a further additional device (19, 22, 25, 27, 30), which can be replaced thereby, can be fixed on the bearing surface (6).

Switch

The switching apparatus includes a stationary part (10) which is arranged in a switch cabinet and includes electrical power supply terminals (18) and electrical power distribution terminals (19). A moving housing body (20) accommodates a switch mechanism (27) and a disconnecting device for electrically connecting and disconnecting the housing body (20) from the stationary part (10). An additional device with an electrical auxiliary circuit is attached to the housing body (20) and is supplied with electrical power by wiring which is passed from the stationary part (10) to the housing body (20). The wiring includes mutually interacting plug connections (105, 107; 106, 108) which are positioned in the side walls (11) of the stationary part (10) and the side walls (A) of the housing body (20). The mutually interacting plug connections open when the housing body and stationary part are disconnected by the disconnecting device and close when the housing body and stationary part are connected by the disconnecting device. The switching apparatus can be accommodated in a switch cabinet in an extremely space saving manner.

The switch cabinet (50) exhibits a housing, which is provided with a door and which includes a box-shaped switch (1). The switch (1) can be brought by a pushing movement inside the switch cabinet (50) into a connected position or into a disconnected position, and exhibits a fixed part (2) mounted in the switch cabinet housing, and a movable housing body (3) which interacts with the fixed part (2) and can be removed from the housing. Furthermore, the switch (1) contains a disconnecting device for achieving the disconnected position or the connected position, and a switching lever (4) guided to the outside through a first opening (6) provided in the door (7). Provided in the door (7) of the switch cabinet housing is a second opening (11) which serves to guide through a tool (8) which facilitates the operation of the disconnecting device with the door (7) closed. This switch cabinet fulfills particularly strict safety requirements.

Disconnectable switch

An automatic locking device for linkages subjected to undesirable mechanical stresses comprises a transducer with transmits an electrical signal as a function of the mechanical stress received, and feeds it to a coil which generates an electromagnetic field causing locking of the linkage.
