The present invention relates to a radiographic cassette to be used for exposing a radiographic film to X-ray radiation, the radiographic cassette comprising a base element and an upper element, a front phosphor screen adhered to the inner portion of the base element, and a back phosphor screen adhered to the inner portion of the upper element, wherein the radiographic cassette has a front electrical contact on the inner portion of the base element and a back electrical contact on the inner portion of the back element, the front and back electrical contacts facing each other and being connected to respective front and back outer electrical contacts. The invention also relates to the apparatus and method for automatically loading/unloading the above radiographic cassette.

The present invention relates to a radiographic cassette to be used for exposing a radiographic film to X-ray radiation, the radiographic cassette comprising a base element and an upper element, a front phosphor screen adhered to the inner portion of the base element, and a back phosphor screen adhered to the inner portion of the upper element, wherein the radiographic cassette has a hole passing through each of the base and upper element and the front and back phosphor screen, the hole being closed with absorbing means capable to absorb the radiation to which the radiographic film is sensitive. The invention also relates to the apparatus and method for automatically loading/unloading the above radiographic cassette.

The device comprises a housing for housing the stack of film sheets, a driven feed roller in contact with the first film sheet of the stack, biasing means for keeping the stack with its first film sheet in contact with the feed roller, and a withdrawal passageway for the film sheets, characterized in that the passageway is defined by a first guide surface forming an angle of 30.degree. to 60.degree. with the sheets of the stack and a second rounded guide surface, the passageway has a height at least twice the thickness of a single film sheet, and the feed roller has an outer surface comprising a material which provides a coefficient of static friction between that material and a film sheet which is greater than the coefficient of static friction between two adjacent film sheets of the stack.

Automatic apparatus for the transfer in daylight of a video image onto a discrete or continuous sheet of photosensitive film contained in a loading unit. The apparatus comprises a base unit containing televisual display means and a handling and exposure unit. First peripheral abutment means are associated with said units and front, rear and side outer panel members are provided with second abutment means, the light-tight combination of said first and second abutment means associated with said panel members providing light protecting means for the two units.
