The invention is directed to a floor cleaning apparatus which includes a nozzle-like structure for a vacuum cleaner. The apparatus is for vacuum cleaning and polishing hard floors and is moved by the operator in a desired direction. The apparatus includes a chassis defining a longitudinal axis and at least two working plates for working on the surface of the hard floor. The working plates are movably mounted on the chassis so as to perform respective reciprocal movements counter to each other and in a direction ninety degrees to the desired direction in which the apparatus is moved by the operator. The plates conjointly define a total depth extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the chassis and work plate takes up one-third of this depth. The other one of the work plates takes up two-thirds of this depth. The work plates have a flat shape and at least one of the work plates is pervious to air. The work plates are sealed at their edges and are mounted on the apparatus by means of elastic bearings.

Floor cleaning apparatus

An aerosol cleaning agent for textile surfaces, particularly for the cleaning of textile upholstery, contains a plasticized urea-formaldehyde resin foam, a propellant, an antisettling and suspending agent respectively and a liquid. In order to obtain improved cleaning action and improved removability from the article to be cleaned, the aerosol cleaning agent comprises approximately 65 to 75 wt % active substance. This active substance contains sodium-aluminum silicate suspended therein and buffered by acid to a pH of about 7-8--and the plasticized urea-formaldehyde resin foam has open-cell foam particles and is present in particle sizes between the limit values of about 0.005 and 0.120 mm and a density (in dry, non-comminuted condition) of about 50 plus or minus 10 kg/m.sup.3. Therefore it is possible to dispense with the addition of a moisture-retaining cation-active antistatic.

Aerosol cleaning agent for textile surfaces

A cleaning device operated in conjunction with a vacuum cleaner includes a housing which is composed of a motor housing accommodating a drive motor, a removable nozzle plate formed with a first individual nozzle and a second surface nozzle and enclosing a working tool with a brush, and an air-duct housing forming a suction duct connectable to the vacuum cleaner.
