A process for routing virtual links in a frame-switching network including a plurality of source and/or destination terminals of the frames, in which frame switches are connected to one another by physical connections, with each virtual link being defined, for a point-to-point type, by a path through the network between a source terminal and a destination terminal, and, for a multipoint type, by a plurality of paths through the network between a source terminal and a plurality of destination terminals. The process performs the routing of links by minimizing at least one cost function on a set of solutions satisfying at least one predetermined topological constraint.

A method for routing virtual links in a frame switching network including a plurality of source terminals and/or destination of the frames, frame switches being connected together through physical connections, each virtual link being defined, for a point-to-point type, by a path through the network between a source terminal and a destination terminal and, for a multipoint type, by a plurality of paths through the network between a source terminal and a plurality of destination terminals. The method carries out routing of the links while observing a segregation constraint with regard to triplets of consecutive switches belonging to the oriented loops, so as to allow verification of determinism of the network.

Method of routing virtual links in a frame-switching network with guaranteed determinism

Embodiments of the invention enable the integrity of data processed by a switch to be guaranteed better than 10undetected erroneous frames per flight hour. To do this, rules for disabling ports are included in the switch management program. These rules include a maximum absolute admissible number of erroneous frames, to a maximum relative rate of admissible erroneous frames and a minimum number of erroneous frames constituting a significance threshold. Random errors are detected at the level of each frame due to the insertion of a CRC. Deterministic or data-dependent errors able to deceive systematically the CRC check are made random by means of a frame index.

Method for improving the integrity of communication means

A data integrity checking system in a frame-switched on-board network, including at least first and second asynchronous transmitter terminals, with the second transmitter terminal being in charge of monitoring the first transmitter terminal, and at least first and second receiving terminals, with the second receiving terminal being in charge of monitoring the first receiving terminal. The system includes a first multicast virtual link connecting the first transmitter terminal to the receiving terminals, a second virtual link connecting the first receiving terminal to the second transmitter terminal, the second virtual link not passing through any of the switches that are common to the branches of the first virtual link, a third virtual link connecting the second transmitter to the first receiving terminal in order to transmit thereto the result of an integrity check on the data received by the first receiving terminal.
