A releasable connection for tubular metal sliding rods with ends in a textile machine includes at least one pressureproof insert filling the rod ends. A metal clamping socket fits flush over the rod ends for transmitting force. The metal clamping socket has releasable clamping screws holding the rod ends in slide-free contact with the at least one insert and the clamping socket under changing loads.

Releasable connection of tubular sliding rods of a textile machine

In a guide roller assembly such as utilized for supporting a reciprocating yarn guide rod in a textile winding machine, the guide roller assembly having an outer shell rotatably supported on a carrier member by an interposed ball bearing assembly, problems of internal contamination of the guide roller assembly are avoided by provision of a plurality of annular projecting walls on one or both of the outer shell and the carrier member to define narrow annular spacings between the outer shell and the carrier member at the annular walls and annular air chambers in radial series between the walls. The narrow annular spacings are preferably of a maximum dimension in the range of a few tenths of a millimeter. Debris entering the interior of the guide roller assembly tends to be propelled radially outwardly and accumulates at the annular spacings to resist entry of further debris.

Guide roller assembly

A lifter rod actuates controllable yarn reserve devices of an open-end spinning machine. A reciprocating device for the lifter includes a shaft supported in the frame of the spinning machine and driven at a given angular velocity. A swash plate disposed on the shaft revolves at the given angular velocity. The swash plate has a circular-annular bearing with an outer ring being rotatable relative to the swash plate. The outer ring has an articulated coupling for mechanically jigging the lifter rod. A mechanical operative connection connects the articulated coupling with the lifter rod. The shaft, the swash plate, the bearing, the outer ring, the articulated coupling, the mechanical operative connection and the lifter rod form a mechanical operative chain. A jigging amplitude control device is diposed in the mechanical operative chain and firmly connected to and supported in the machine frame.

A machine for producing cross-wound bobbins, includes a machine frame, detachable rotary guiding elements supported at fixed locations on the machine frame, a reciprocating rod guided by the rotary guiding elements, the rotary guiding elements being distributed along the length of and about the periphery of the rod, and a plurality of thread guiding elements operating in parallel and being driven in common by the rod.

Lifting or pressing device includes means for transmitting thrust, and a compressive force-transmitting push rod shiftable by said thrust transmitting means, the push rod being formed of individual elements form-lockingly clampable one to another, the individual elements being fittable with a pressure-proof, bending-proof and buckling-proof fit into one another in direction of thrust by the thrust transmitting means, and being releasable in a direction opposite the direction of thrust and being divertable out of the direction of thrust.

Lifting or pressing device

Means for eliminating dust in the knitting zone and at the latch needles of warp knitting machines with a casting-off bar and casting-off comb plates. Contoured stripping plates are mounted on the casting-off comb plates. The stripping plates are led through the spaces between the knitting needles. Cleaning air is supplied through ducts to assist the stripping action.
