A fence clip installation tool includes a pair of handles pivotally joined to respective jaws pivotally maintained between two plates to enable the jaws to counter-rotate in unison. Clips of a compatible design may then be nested between the jaws and compressed or deformed about objects upon closure of the handles.

A socket assembly for a trailer hitch includes a ball clamp member which has lateral arms or wings that limit the pivotal movement of the ball clamp member thereby improving the opportunity for the ball to properly fit in and totally seat within the cavity defined within the socket assembly.

The bathing tub assembly includes a removable side wall panel which is slidably engageable with a slot along the edge of an opening through the side wall of the tub. A special seal construction for the panel edge and slot prevents leakage of the contents of the tub through the slot.

An improved buckle construction for coupling a flexible strap to a bushing includes a special buckle cooperative with both a strap that fits through a slot in the buckle and a bushing. The strap is positioned in a through slot in the buckle and engages the head of the bushing positioned in a keyhole in the buckle to bias the bushing into a locked position. The strap is maintained in a locked position in the through slot by means of a biased lever which is manually releasable.

A reversible direct current, winch motor is controlled by a 'dead man' switch. The switch includes a handle pivotally attached to a plug and normally maintained in a neutral position relative to the plug. The plug is received in a receptacle defined in the winch housing. Leads in the receptacle from the motor are normally shunted to provide a winch braking effect. Directional pivotal movement of the switch handle causes power leads in the handle to pivot and engage the motor leads and thereby provide subsequent directional operational of the motor. The handle and plug, as well as the power input leads, are removable from the receptacle for safety and security purposes.

A winch includes a direct current reversible motor operable to drive a gear train to wind or unwind cable from a drum and also includes first and second clutch mechanisms in the gear train that provide respectively (1) internal loading of the winch to prohibit undesirable unwinding of cable and (2) infinite clutch control between free wheeling operation and direct gear train drive of the winch. The first clutch mechanism is a sprag clutch which is operated against a brake load built into the winch. The second clutch mechanism includes clutch plates which are engaged proportional to the force of a thrust bearing controlled by a manually operated handle.

An improved oiler includes a manually operated pump mechanism retained within the oiler container for pumping low viscosity oil and similar low viscosity fluids through a spout of the oiler for discharge by an adjustable spray nozzle. The nozzle is comprised of four separate interengaging parts including a compression fitting which contains a nozzle disc and a channel member. By rotating the compression fitting, physical separation of the disc and channel member is controlled and the pattern of spray through the nozzle is adjusted between a fine spray and a fine stream.
