A laser tube for a gas laser that has on at least one end side a tube flange for the detachable fastening of a laser window or of a laser mirror. A beam guiding device is also provided which guides the laser beam from the laser device laterally toward an outside side of the table, and upwardly near an outside side of the table to a point above the table. A horizontal pivot arm is also provided which receives the laser beam from the beam guiding device above the table and guides the laser beam to an operation site. The horizontal pivot arm includes an adjustable length.
