The invention relates to a device for starting a motor vehicle motor. According to the invention, a slot is ( ) used for inserting ( ) the key ( ) which is usually closed by a spring-loaded cover ( ). Device for starting a motor vehicle motor, using an electronic key

A closing device includes a cylinder core with followers and a closing cylinder with a freewheel sleeve and a housing accommodating the sleeve. Normally, a coupling slider is coupled to the cylinder core by a restoring force, but is decoupled therefrom in the event of overcharge. An axial connection is provided between the coupling slider and a locking and controlling member. The slider and the locking and controlling member can be radially moved, however, can be rotated between various rotational positions of the closing cylinder when the cylinder core is actuated using a key. The closing cylinder has two key removal positions. The coupling slider is displaced in the angle thereof by turning the key between at least two rotational positions which correspond to the key removal positions. The coupling slider can be radially displaced in the direction of the rotational positions. At least one locking and controlling member is allocated to each of the rotational positions.

The invention relates to an access system in which an access authorization that can be disposed of outside of the vehicle communicates with identification means located inside the vehicle. If the identification means respond, control means which operate a door lock ( ) from a door handle ( ) are transferred out of their inoperative position into an operative position. To this end, the door handle ( ) can move between three different positions ( ). In the first position, the door handle ( ) is located in a retracted position ( ), which cannot be grasped by the human hand, but rather is streamlined. Only when the door handle ( ) is in a protruding extended position ( ) is the latter possible. The door handle is then manually displaced into a third protracted position in which the door lock ( ) is opened. According to the invention, this mode of operation is ensured by an actuator ( ) configured, for example, as an eccentric.

Access system for a vehicle

The invention relates to a closing cylinder comprised of a cylinder core ( ) which is rotationally accommodated in a cylinder housing ( ), and which has a profiled axial boring ( ). An axially parallel roll body ( ) is arranged in said closing cylinder and is always guided with a partial cross-section ( ) in a radial opening ( ) of the cylinder core. According to whether an initial position of rotation or a key rotation exists, the blocking element ( ) either runs into an inner groove ( ) of the cylinder housing ( ) or into a marginal recess ( ) of a group of rotating discs ( ) which are arranged in a profiled axial boring ( ) of the cylinder core ( ). In order to increase the useful life of the closing cylinder, the invention provides that a spring element ( ) is arranged at least between one of the rotating discs ( ) and the cylinder core ( ). The spring load resulting therefrom blocks, via a blocking surface provided on the rotating disc ( ), the blocking element ( ) in the cylinder housing ( ) in a manner which prevents rotation. The cylinder core ( ) comprises, with the axial section thereof serving to accommodate the rotating discs ( ), a radial recess ( ) for the spring element, and the recess ( ) is connected via a radial slot ( ) to the axial boring ( ) of the cylinder core ( ) which accommodates the rotating discs ( ).

Closing cylinder, especially for vehicles

The inventive device comprises a seat which is situated in the device housing and which is provided for the insertion of an identification provider. A holding element located inside the seat engages with a lateral indentation of the identification provider. The opening of the seat is normally closed by a spring-loaded cover element. In order to create a functionally reliable and economic design, the invention provides that the cover element is configured as a pivotal flap which can pivot from the identification provider out of an outwardly pivoted position covering the opening of the seat and into an inwardly pivoted position inside the seat. A projection is provided on the outer side of the flap and functions as a holding element for the identification provider. A recess is arranged next to the seat for the inward pivotal movement of the flap. During insertion and removal of the information provider, the projection of the flap runs along the contour of the information provider and temporarily pivots the flap further back into an overturned position. A profiled control surface is transferred into an effective blocking position which limits the space for the inwardly pivoted position of the flap thus ensuring the engagement of the projection of the flap inside the indentation of the identification provider.

A closing device with a closing cylinder for closing functions to be performed especially on vehicles has a radial recess for the locking and control member that is open toward the exterior of the housing and the locking and control member is exposed in the radially outward direction, but is covered by a leaf-shaped spring. A spring is arranged in the circumferential area of the housing and acts directly on the locking and control member. The control and locking member is arranged radially adjacent to the cylinder portion of the cylinder core being provided with followers. A slide is positioned in a portion of the closing cylinder axially stepped relative to the locking and control member, and an axial connection bridges the spacing between the locking and control member and the slide.

A closing device has a key-operable closing cylinder which is simultaneously a component of a pusher and serves as a hand-operated thrusting device for operating locking elements. A central locking system can be used to actuate a lever with a drive. Malfunctions result when the central locking lever, moved to a secured position by the drive of the central locking system, blocks the components in the closing cylinder such that the key cannot be inserted into the closing cylinder when a pushing arm which is rotated by the closing cylinder is in an inactive position and blocked. This is avoided by using coupling elements which are provided between the supporting points of the lever allocated to the central locking system and also between the supporting points of the pushing arm. In accordance with the rotated position of the key in the closing cylinder, the coupling elements change between coupling and uncoupling positions. The lever is uncoupled when the pushing arm is in the inactive position. Accordingly, movement of the lever ceases, this movement caused by the drive of the central locking system, thus preventing engagement of the pushing arm.

Locking device, especially for motor vehicle locking

A cylinder lock for use in motor vehicles and elsewhere has a case for a rotatable and axially movable sleeve-like guide which receives a rotatable cylinder having a keyhole and being locked to the guide by tumblers when the key is withdrawn. A detent is installed between the case and the guide to normally prevent rotation of the guide except when the guide is acted upon by a large force which causes it to deactivate the detent as a result of certain axial movement of the guide and cylinder in the case. A clutch between the cylinder and a motion transmitting element for a bolt of the lock is engaged as long as the detent is operative but is disengaged not later than when the detent permits the guide to turn in the case. If the cylinder is rotated by an implement other than a fitting key, and the implement applies the large force, the detent is deactivated as a result of axial movement of the guide and cylinder relative to the case whereby the clutch is disengaged and the cylinder cannot turn the motion transmitting element and the locking bolt. The detent has one or more projections in an end face of the guide one or more complementary sockets in an end face of the case, and a spring which biases the end face of the guide toward the end face of the case.

Cylinder lock

The invention relates to a lockable glove and auxiliary compartment cover system for motor cars having a lock which is transferable into its tripping position by the stressing of a tripping lever by means of an actuating element. A closing member is provided which can be rotated between positions permitting and blocking the operative connection between the actuating element and the lock to change the security condition of the system. The change of the security condition occurs by means of a toothed-wheel gear which comprises a spur gear element rotatable with the closing element and a further gear element meshing with the spur gear element. In order to permit a handier arrangement of the actuating elements, the further gear element is likewise constructed as a rotatably mounted spur gear element, at least one of the spur gear elements, which belongs to a push-button, is guided for axial sliding, and a tripping stud protrudes eccentrically from the spur gear elements guided for axial sliding by means of which the tripping lever is pivotable in order to trip the lock.
