An actuating magnet comprises a magnet body (10), an exciting winding (15) rranged in the said magnet body (10) and a radially movable armature (17) having a pre-determined first radial cross-sectional surface. One end of the armature (17) having a second radial cross-sectional surface (19) substantially larger than the said first cross-sectional surface (20) forms a pole piece (18). Between the said pole piece (18) and a wall (11) of the said magnet body (10) which covers in the radial direction at least part of one end face of the said exciting winding (15) there is provided an air gap (20). In order to increase the actuating force of the magnet without changing its outer dimensions and to provide a closed system, the wall (11) covers the said end face of the exciting winding (15) and shields it magnetically, the pole piece (18) is arranged opposite to the inside of the said wall (11) and the air gap (20) extends in the radial direction (FIGS. 1a+b).

A linear servo drive comprises substantially a drive section (29) and a ciage (30) running on the latter. The carriage (30) is seated on the drive section (29) via a roller bearing consisting of guide strips (36) extending in the axial direction and coacting with rollers (37, 37a to 37c). In order to increase the mechanical loading capacity of the drive section and, thus, of the entire drive and to reduce at the same time its weight, the drive section (29) is given a radial cross-section exhibiting flange-like end portions (34) extending in a star-like pattern from a central area (32) and provided with surface portions which extend in an approximately radial direction and which define the plane of the roller bearing.

Electropneumatic pilot or anticipatory control stage for a pneumatic servo valve includes a nozzle impact plate system, with an impact plate (9,23) controlled by a plunger coil (7) by the input of electric signals. Openings (58,61,62) are arranged in a diaphragm spring disk (10) serving as carrier element for the plunger coil (7), as well as in the front flange (65) of the coil body (8), these openings (58,61,62) guide a flow of air (64) passing through a measuring nozzle (22) of the valve main stage (2) into the pilot control state (1) through a magnetic gap or space (66,67) about the plunger coil (7) and conduct the air into the atmosphere via exhaust ducts (63). By means of the work medium inherent to the servo valve, a permanent cooling of the plunger coil (7) is effected. The automatic control valve affords miniaturization and the improvement of the valve dynamics for better integration in pneumatic drives.

Electropneumatic pilot control stage for a pneumatic servo valve

Electropneumatic servo valve for controlling a volume current or a pressure, respectively. The subject matter of the invention relates to a two-stage, electropneumatic servo valve for controlling a volume current. The servo valve (1, 2) consists of an electromechanically controllable preliminary control stage (1), by means of which electric control signals are converted into pneumatic control pressure in a control air space (29) between the preliminary control stage (1) and a valve main stage (2) with a nozzle impact plate system (22, 9). The variably controllable control air pressure in the control air space (29) serves as actuating force for positioning a control piston (54) in the valve main stage (2), on the basis of which a proportional volume current can be adjusted at an operating output (A). The electropneumatic servo valve (1, 2) serves to convert electric control signals of low power for controlling a relatively large volume current for the operation of pneumatic drives.
