A rotor () for an electric motor (). The rotor () has a rotor shaft () and a rotor core () attached onto the rotor shaft (). The rotor core has a plurality of core laminations () arranged along an axis (A) of the rotor core (), and has a plurality of poles of at least one pole pair, the core lamination () having: a central recess () through which the rotor shaft () passes and which has a contour () as well as adjacent areas (AF), and a plurality of receiving structures arranged at peripheral angular positions in order to each form a receiving element for a pole-forming element on the rotor core (). In this context, it is provided according to the invention that the rotor core has a surface (OF) facing the rotor shaft () that is formed together with the adjacent areas (AF) of the central recess () of the plurality of core laminations (), and that has uneven areas crosswise to the axis (A) of the rotor core () that are formed by the contours () of the central recesses () of the plurality of core laminations (). The contours () of the central recesses () of at least a first core lamination and a second core lamination of the plurality of core laminations () are arranged so as not to be congruent with each other.

Handle assembly for hand-held tool

An auxiliary handle is attachable by a band-shaped clamping member of a clamping device to a housing part of a hand tool such as a drill. A bearing part, supportable on the housing part, has alignable through openings for an axially extending depth stop. A U-shaped separate part is in engagement with the clamping member and has a through guide alignable with the through openings. When the clamping member is tightened on the housing part, it displaces the separate part transversely of the axis of the through opening for clamping the depth stop in the through openings.

Auxiliary handle for hand-held tool

A hand-held tool for use as a powered drill or screw driver, has a chuck for holding a tool bit, and the chuck is replaceable without employing another tool. A conically shaped shaft section on a rotary spindle fits into a conically shaped bore in a socket section of a part of the chuck. The shaft section and chuck part are secured together by clamping members held in place by a spring. The interconnection affords concentricity and true runout. The rotary spindle is provided with a recess or groove in its outer surface. The groove has an inclined flank closer to the front end of the spindle and the clamping members is biased by the spring against the flank. The spring is displaceable by a gripping sleeve between the biasing position and a released position.
