In a support for holding and positioning a utility load in space having a base () and an elongated supporting arm () which between its longitudinal ends is swingably supported on the base () for swinging moment about a vertical first axis () and about a horizontal second axis () which intersects the vertical first axis (), the supporting arm () carrying on one side of the second axis the utility load and on the other side of the second axis carrying a counterweight compensating for the utility load, the utility load being arranged on a first connector arm () which is pivotally supported at one end of the supporting arm () for moment about a third axis (), the counterweight () being arranged on a second connector arm which is swingably supported on the other end of the supporting arm () for movement about a fourth axis (), the third and fourth axis being parallel to one another, the spacing (Ln) between the engagement point (N) of the utility load and the first connector arm () and the third axis () being equal to the spacing between the third axis () and the vertical axis (), the spacing (Lg) measured in the longitudinal direction of the second connector arm () between the center of gravity (G) of the counterweight () and the fourth axis () being equal to the spacing between a fourth axis () and the vertical first axis (), and the two connector arms () being so coupled with one another by a coupling means that in any pivoted position they are directed antiparallel to one another.

Support for the holding and positioning of a utility load in space

The invention relates to a fastening block for mounting objects on a profiled rail () having an at least approximately rectangular cross-section. The fastening block comprises a housing part () with at least one claw (), which is fixed to the housing and reaches over the profiled rail () so that the housing part () rests against two faces of the profiled rail () via contact surfaces that are parallel to the profiled rail (). The fastening block also comprises an L-shaped moving clamping part () which, with its first L-limb (), is mounted on the housing part () in a manner that permits it to pivot about a first axis () that is parallel to the contact surfaces and which is pretensioned into a clamping position in which it reaches around the profiled rail () with its second L-limb () provided in the form of a claw. Lastly, the fastening block comprises a tightening device () for tightening and blocking the clamping part () in the clamping position. A draw rod () is coupled to an actuating extension () of the first L-limb () of the clamping part () in a manner that enables it to pivot about a second axis () that is parallel to the first axis (), said actuating extension being aligned radial to the first axis (). The draw rod extends approximately parallel to the second L-limb (). The tightening device has a tightening screw () that is coupled to the draw rod () while being resistant to tensile forces and is directly or indirectly supported on the housing part ().

Fastening block for mounting objects on a profiled rail

In a base for an operating table comprising a support column () and a patient support surface, which base has a support frame () that is used to receive the support column () and rests on steering rollers, the at least approximately rectangular plate-shaped support frame () has at each of its corners one roller casing () rigidly connected thereto, the height of the roller casing is at least approximately equal to the height of the support frame () and one steering roller each is arranged therein such that it can be adjusted in height between an extended position in which it is supported on the floor and keeps the support frame () with the roller casings () at a distance to the floor and a retracted position in which the support frame () and/or the roller casings () rest on the floor.

Base for an operating table

The invention relates to a bearing surface for a medical examining-table for carrying out roentgenolic examinations and surgical interventions during which radiological devices are used, comprising a table-top ( ) and a guide unit ( ) which can be coupled to a supporting column ( ) of the examining table. Said guide unit has a first guide housing ( ), in which the table-top ( ) is guided to that it can be displaced in the longitudinal direction. The table-top consists entirely of X-ray permeable material and has guide surfaces ( ), which lie against guide elements ( ) in the guide housing ( ).

Bearing surface for a medical examining-table

A patient support means (16) of an operating table comprises several patient support sections (18,20,22,24) connected to one another and in the region of one of the sections is releasably connected with a support apparatus (10). The support section (18) connectable with the support apparatus (10) includes a lower plate portion (30) couplable with the support apparatus and an upper plate portion (32) translationally adjustably guided on the lower plate portion and connected with the remaining sections (20,22,24) of the patient support means (16), with the lower plate portion (30) being made in the form of a closed box in which the drive mechanism for the adjustment of the upper plate portion (32) is arranged.

Operating table patient support means

In a connecting module for the transmission of electrical energy and/or information signals between a patient support means of an operating table and a supporting apparatus releasably connectable with the patient support means, including a support apparatus module portion (42) and a patient support means module portion (44), one of the module portions (42,44) is provided with a first group of transmission elements (88,98) for the transmission of electrical energy and/or information signals and a second and a third group of complementary transmission elements (60,72) are provided in the other module portion (44,42) and are so arranged that upon connection of the patient support means with the support apparatus in a first position of the patient support means relative to the support apparatus the transmission elements (88,98) of the first group cooperate with the transmission elements (60,72) of the second group and so that in a second position of the patient support means relative to the support apparatus, which second position is rotated relative to the first position about a vertical axis, the transmission elements (88,98) of the first group cooperate with the transmission elements (60,72) of the third group.

Connecting module

A support column for holding a patient support means of an operating table has a foot portion (18) and a head portion (46), which head portion is adapted for connection with the patient support means and by means of an adjusting mechanism located inside of the support column is adjustable relative to the foot portion (18) and pivotal about horizontal axes. The adjusting mechanism includes a lifting column standing on the foot portion (18), which lifting column at its upper end is connected with a lifting mount (30,32,34) carrying a number of linear drives (36) arranged parallel to the lifting column (20). Each linear drive at one of its ends is cardanically connected to the lifting mount (30,32,34) and at its other end is cardanically connected to the head portion (46), with the head portion (46) through at least one other cardanic joint (48) being connected with the lifting mount (30,32,34). The lifting column (20) is made to be nonrotatable, and it and the three linear drives (36) are--in plan view--arranged at least nearly at the corners of a rectangle, the head portion (46) being connected through a further cardanic joint (48), located nearly at the intersection point of the diagonals of the rectangle with a guide element (50), vertically adjustably but nonrotatably guided on the lifting mount (30,32,34).

Support column for holding a patient support means

A mobile patient support system includes a table plate, a support column for supporting the table plate and a transport carriage for transporting the table plate. Two pin-shaped connecting elements arranged on the table plate are receivable in complementary pin receivers of the support column for connection therewith. The table plate is transferrable by relative motion between the transport carriage and the support column from the support column to the transport carriage and the reverse. The table plate and the support column on one hand are provided with latching means and the table plate and the support column on the other hand are likewise supplied with latching means for exchangeable engagement with one another. On each connecting element are at least two latching members supported for movement between a latching position and a free position, and during the transfer process they are simultaneously insertable in a pin receiver of the column and a pin receiver of the transfer carriage. In each pin receiver is a latching recess for receiving one of the latching members in its latching position and a control surface arranged for association with the other latching element which control surface upon insertion of the connecting element transfers the latter latching member to its free position.

Mobile patient support system

An operating table includes a support surface with several support surface sections hydraulically adjustable relative to one another, a support column for the support surface with a column head (16) on which head the support surface is supported for pivotal movement and hydraulic adjustment and with a column foot (14) which is connected with the column head (16) through a hydraulic lifting apparatus (18), and a hydraulic unit (24) for operating the lifting apparatus and the work cylinders for adjusting the support surface sections. The hydraulic unit (24) is arranged on the column head (16). The lifting apparatus (18) includes two antiparallel lifting cylinders (26, 28) arranged next to one another and connected in parallel with one another having similar interior cross sections, the piston rod (30) of one cylinder being connected with the column head (16) and the piston rod (32) of the other cylinder being connected with the column foot (14). The pressure fluid supply and exhaust for the lifting apparatus (18) takes place through the piston rod (30 ) connected with the column head (16).
