A closure stopper for pharmaceutical applications has a sealing flange seating in a sealing manner on an end face of the container's closure mouth. The sealing flange has a lower sealing surface and a boundary plane contacting an area protruding farthest downwardly and extending perpendicularly to the closure stopper's center axis. An engagement portion extending below the sealing flange is formed with a smaller radial extent than the sealing flange. Preferably a handling portion extends above the sealing flange. A circumferential sealing projection also is formed on the engagement portion and protrudes by a radial dimension with respect to an axial portion of the engagement portion initially adjoining the sealing flange from underneath and having a portion-radius. The sealing projection, at least with respect to its base portion, vertically overlaps a set-back region formed on the sealing flange and set back with respect to the contact plane.

Closure stopper for pharmaceutical applications

The invention relates firstly to a method for producing a crimp cap for a container for receiving a pharmaceutical substance, in particular an ampoule, wherein the crimp cap has a metal foil layer, which is covered over at least on the outside with a layer of plastic forming a covering of the foil layer. In order to provide an advantageous method for producing a crimp cap from a metal foil layer with a layer of plastic forming a covering of the foil layer, while avoiding the risk of particle formation as much as possible, it is proposed that a material strip M having an already plastic-covered foil layer is formed into the crimp cap by punching out and deep drawing. The invention also relates to a crimp cap for a container for receiving a pharmaceutical substance, and also to a container with a pharmaceutical substance.

Method for producing a crimp cap, crimp cap and container

A closure () for a container (), or for an ampoule (), in which a medicament is accommodated, having a closure cap () and a closure stopper () accommodated in the closure (). Detent moldings () are formed on the closure cap () for latchingly holding the closure () on the ampoule (), and a sliding part () is provided which is movable relative to the closure cap () in order to displace the closure stopper () into the closed position. In order to advantageously provide, with respect to carrying out a freeze-drying process, a closure for a container, or for an ampoule, in which a medicament is accommodated, the closure stopper () is displaceable relative to the cap () by means of the sliding part () in order to move the closure stopper into the closed position. Closure for a container and method for carrying out a freeze-drying process

The invention relates to a closure cap () for a container () for receiving a pharmaceutical substance, in particular for an infusion or transfusion bottle, with a flanged cap () which is suitable for engagement around a container neck () and which has a metal film layer, wherein the flanged cap () also has a recess () that is covered by a plastic lid (), the plastic lid () is connected to the flanged cap () by means of at least one connection element () formed on the underside, and the plastic lid () is removable at least in part. In order to provide a closure cap for a container for receiving a pharmaceutical substance, which container is safe to handle and meets strict demands regarding its tamper-proofing, it is proposed that the plastic lid () is connected to the flanged cap () via a plurality of connection elements () which are formed on its underside and pass through associated connection openings () formed in the flanged cap (), and that the plastic lid (), in order to expose the recess (), has a tear-off tab () which extends from a coverage of the recess () as far as an edge of the plastic lid (), wherein no connection between the plastic lid and the flanged cap () is formed in the area of the tear-off tab ().
