In a low-voltage circuit breaker, terminal points for connecting contact arrangements to stationary bus bars are provided. Between the terminal points and the stationary bus bars, connecting bars are arranged which are braced relative to the housing of the circuit breaker by support bodies against current forces. The support bodies are parts comprising relatively thin insulating material with cutouts for the connecting bars. Detent projections allow the support bodies to snap into corresponding recesses in the lateral housing walls of the circuit breaker.

Mechanical signals which are made available in the form of limited travel distances can be fed, for obtaining at least one output variable, to an arrangement in which plungers assigned to the input variable are arranged in space parallel to each other, wherein a slide movably guided likewise parallel to the plungers is provided for the transmsision of force between the plungers. For obtaining a logical AND interconnection, at least one plunger for a first input signal can be guided at the slide and at least one plunger can be arranged approximately opposite the former for the output signal and the slide an have a working surface for at least one corresponding plunger for action by a further input signal. Arrangements of this kind can be used in conjunction with wire tripping devices in electrical switching installations for interlocking purposes.

Arrangement for the logical interlinkage of mechanical signals

A contact arrangement for a low-voltage circuit breaker comprises a pivotally mounted holder for two or more contact levers which are connected by flexible current leads to a fixed connecting device or connecting bar. Between the current leads, a spacer is arranged which comprises, besides a wall portion separating the current leads, lateral projections of pocket or tub-shaped form. The projections provide a seating surface for a leg of the current lead bent in loop form as well as a protective arch contiguous with the seating surface for protecting any damaged sheets of the current leads. The spacer comprising an insulating material, is provided with an opening for a joint pin provided for the pivotable suspension of the holder.

A safety device against movement of switchgear in a switchboard cell with the door of the switchboard cell open, comprises a latch which cooperates with the recesses of a guide rod, the front end of which carries a stop. The stop precedes the head piece on the operating side of a threaded spindle of a positioning drive for a switchgear and can, with the door of the switching installation closed, be displaced by a tool provided for operating the threaded spindle, until the tool comes into engagement with the head. If the door of the switchboard cell is not closed, the latch engages one of the recesses of the guide rod of the stop and thereby prevents engagement of the tool with the head of the threaded spindle.

For receiving the contact levers of a contact arrangement, a holder is provided, in which the contact levers are supported so that they can be tilted relative to each other. The holder in turn can be moved in a stationary bearing strap for switching on and off. The bearing strap consists of two mirror-symmetrical angles which are assembled to each other by connecting straps at an unchangeable distance corresponding to the width of the holder. The connecting straps are preferably provided with openings into which material of the angles can be pushed by plastic deformation.

A pull-out frame for a switching device with a threaded spindle and a tripping device which can be actuated by a tool provided for actuating the threaded spindle. In the switching device, a coupling member is arranged which transmits the motion of the tripping device of the pull-out frame to a tripping device of the switching meachanism of the switching device. A latching device controlled by the positioning drive makes provision that the tripping device is released only in the course of the travel motion of the switching device for resetting.

A low-voltage circuit breaker comprises a current transformer which at least partly encloses a first connecting bar and is supported by a stationary carrier independently of a second connecting bar. In the region opposite this support, the current transformer is disposed between an L-shaped carrier (angled-off), of the contact arrangements of the circuit breaker and an insulating piece inserted between the connecting bars. In this arrangement, the current transformer can be exchanged with a relatively small amount of labor, while at the same time, adequate strength of the connecting bars against forces is achieved which are introduced into the connecting bars by the continuing current bars.
