The invention relates to a radiator attachment for attaching a radiator to a motor vehicle. In detail, the radiator attachment comprises a tank bottom, from which a spreading element, formed in a clamp-like manner, projects transversely, preferably perpendicularly, along an axial direction. The radiator attachment further comprises a detent body, extending along the axial direction and surrounding a body interior, from which detent body two inner detent elements project into the body interior. At least one outwardly projecting detent hook projects at a first of the two axial ends. Here, the spreading element of the tank bottom, received in the body interior, is engaged with the two inner detent elements. The radiator attachment further comprises a socket of an elastomer, in particular of a rubber, extending along the axial direction and lying externally against the detent body, which socket is engaged with the at least one detent hook.

A heat exchanger for a method vehicle and a method of producing a heat exchanger are disclosed. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger block closed by a side part. The heat exchanger block has a tube bottom including a deformable hook, and the side part includes a tab provided complementary to a corner region of the tube bottom. The tab has a section, that abuts on a front side of the tube bottom, that includes a through opening or depression. A material portion of the hook is displaced through the through opening or depression via a graining in an assembled state, such that the axes of the through opening and the graining are offset and parallel to one another.

At least one side part may have at least one predetermined breaking point and at least one heat expansion compensator. The inventive compensation tank is integrated into a main cooling circuit, wherein a means for directly introducing the cooling fluid is arranged on the compensation tank between the input and output connections and the cooling fluid flow coming into the compensation tank runs directly from the input connection to the output connection by means of said directly introducing means.

Heat exchanger, especially charge air cooler for motor vehicles

The invention relates to an arrangement which is used to secure a first heat exchanger to a second heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger () is arranged parallel to the second heat exchanger () and comprises a heat exchanger block () in addition to collector pipes arranged on both sides thereof, and which more particularly comprise an integrated collector (). The second heat exchanger comprises a pipe/rib block provided with collector boxes () which are secured on both sides thereon and which are made of a casting or injection type material, especially plastic. The invention also relates to a first heat exchanger () which is secured by means of retaining means () which are injected onto the collector boxes () of the second heat exchanger.

Arrangement for securing a heat exchanger to another heat exchanger

A heat exchanger for a motor vehicle, in particular a coolant/air cooler (), is designed to be fastened to a lower support and an upper transverse support in the motor vehicle by means of upper and lower fastening elements. The heat exchanger () has at least one plastic collecting tank () onto which the fastening elements can be injection molded. The fastening elements () can be produced with different positions and/or different dimensions, e.g., two positions and/or two dimensions. An injection molding die having interchangeable inserts is preferably employed to produce a series of header tanks differing only in the positions and/or dimensions of the fastening elements.
