An installation conveys individuals by way of a transporting device along a track located above the ground and borne by supports. The installation further has a base station, an apparatus for conveying the transporting device from the base station to a top station, and a running rail for the transporting device which starts from the top station and runs predominantly downward. The running rail extends along curves and loops from the top station to the base station. Provided in the region of the base station, in which the boarding location for the passengers is located, is a conveying tower configured with an upward-conveying apparatus for the transporting device. Located in a region of the top station is a transfer location at which the transporting device occupied by passengers is transferred from the upward-conveying apparatus to the running rail, along which they descend to the base station.

Installation for conveying individuals

An apparatus monitors the locking of the safety bar of the chairs of an aerial cableway system. A first sensor determines the occupancy of the chairs and a second sensor determines the locking of the safety bar. The sensor output signals from these two sensors are led to a control device, which is enabled to switch the chairlift system off.

Apparatus for monitoring the locking of the safety bar of a chair in a cableway system

A chair for a cableway system is provided with a closure bar, which can be pivoted into a closed position about a axis running transversely to the direction of travel of the chair. The chair is preferably provided with a number of footrests which correspond to the seats. In a front region of each of the at least one seat there is provided a cam device or protrusion or the like which is coupled in terms of movement to the closure bar. When the closure bar is pivoted into its closed position, the cam device is adjusted to project upwardly centrally at the seat, that is, between the thighs of a person sitting on the respective seat of the chair.

Chair for cableway systems

Installation for carrying persons down from a mountain station into a valley station along a guide rail which is born by supports or the like at a distance above the ground. Individual sections of the guide rail are connected to one another in an articulated and longitudinally non-displaceable manner, and the guide rail is fastened on at least some of the supports in each case via a link that can be pivoted about a more or less vertical axis.

Installation for carrying persons from a higher station towards a lower station

Persons can be carried downhill from a mountain station to a valley station. A guide rail is fastened on a supporting cable at a distance above the ground. The guide rail is formed of a multiplicity of sub-rails and carriages with a chair, a cabin, or the like can be displaced along the rail. The sub-rails are connected to one another such that they can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail.

The installation enables the downhill transportation of passengers from a higher station to a lower station along a rail. Cars that are guided along the rail are equipped with the first of two interacting elements of an electromagnetic braking device, in particular with one or more permanent magnets, and the guide rail being equipped with the second elements, in particular braking strips made from an electrically conductive nonmagnetizable material, such as copper or aluminum, which interact with said first elements of the braking device. Each car is equipped with one or more first elements with an operating brake that is adjustable as a function of its load, and with one or more first elements of a safety brake that is activatable during downhill travel.

Installation for the downhill transportation of passengers from a higher station to a lower station

An electric motor having a stationary annular stator with wound stator poles and a rotatably mounted rotor having annularly distributed permanent magnets or electromagnets of alternate polarity, wherein the stator is composed of a plurality of separate stator segments with their own, preferably three-phase current connections, wherein each stator segment is fed by way of the respective current connections from its own frequency converter.

Electric motor

The installation conveys persons from a valley station to a mountain station and for carries individuals from the mountain station to the valley station via carriages that are guided along a track formed by a running rail. The installation has a cableway system with a haulage cable and transport assemblies that can be coupled thereto and are intended for persons and for conveying devices that convey the carriages from the valley station to the mountain station. The haulage cable is guided over cable-deflecting pulleys in the valley station and in the mountain station. Guide rails are provided in the valley station and in the mountain station along which the conveying devices and transport assemblies, uncoupled from the haulage cable, are guided around the cable-deflecting pulleys with conveying wheels. Bypass rails are connected to the guide rails via diverters both in the valley station and in the mountain station. The bypass rails contain locations respectively for coupling to the conveying devices the carriages which have been fed to the valley station via the running rail and for uncoupling from the conveying devices the carriages located in the mountain station, and for transferring the latter carriages to the running rail (FIG. ).

Installation for conveying persons

The installation for moving persons from a mountain station to a valley station has a supporting cable which is guided via supporting pylons or the like. Carriages, to which there are attached transport assemblies, can be displaced along the supporting cable. Each transport assembly accommodates at least one person. The transport assembly may be a cabin, a chair, a supporting harness, or the like. A supporting and guide rail is fastened on the supporting cable and the carriage can be displaced along the supporting and guide rail from the mountain station into the valley station.

Installation for moving persons from a mountain station into a valley station

A circuit is described for monitoring the faultless state and/or for detecting the faulty state of a cable railway or chairlift system, with a plurality of monitoring and detection devices ( ) and with at least one control and evaluation unit ( ), the monitoring and detection devices ( ) being series-connected to one another and to the control and evaluation unit ( ) and having the potential to be interrogated with respect to their state, especially with respect to their operating state. To be able to meet safety requirements which are as high as possible and at the same time to require only a small installation space, each monitoring and detection device ( ) has several different influence areas ( ) and several signal outputs.
