A device includes a remote control apparatus with a control lever that is pivotably mounted to the remote control apparatus. The control lever is pivotable within an inner zero-position range, an outer travel range, and an oscillation damping range located between the inner zero-position range and the outer travel range. The remote control apparatus is configured to cause movement of a large manipulator, which has an active oscillation damping mode, switch on the active oscillation damping mode and cause movement of the large manipulator when the control lever is within the outer travel range, switch off the active oscillation damping mode when the control lever is located in the zero-position range, and switch on the active oscillation damping mode without causing movement of the large manipulator when the control lever is located within the oscillation damping range.

Remote control device for a large manipulator having a control lever

A manipulator includes an articulated boom configured to be folded out. The articulated boom includes a turntable that can be rotated about a vertical axis, a plurality of boom segments, electrically-actuated proportional valves, and a remote control. The boom segments are pivotable via respective drive assemblies. The electrically-actuated proportional valves are respectively arranged directly on or in proximity to the respective drive assemblies to be controlled. The remote control includes at least one control lever configured to be displaced in a plurality of actuating directions. The manipulator further includes an electronic controller configured to actuate the drive assemblies via a travel command. The travel command indicates a desired movement of the boom tip. The travel command is generated in response to displacement of the control lever into at least one of the plurality of actuating directions. And, the travel command causes actuation of the respective electrically-actuated proportional valves.

Large manipulator with decentralized hydraulic system

A large manipulator includes a chassis, a turntable arranged on the chassis and rotatable around a vertical axis via a rotary drive, and an articulated mast including two or more mast segments pivotably-movably connected, via articulated joints, with the respectively adjacent turntable or mast segment via a respective drive. The large manipulator further includes a mast sensor system configured to detect position of at least one point of the articulated mast or a pivot angle of at least one articulated joint and configured to generate sensor output signals. The large manipulator further includes a control device configured to actuate the drive in a normal operation for mast movement and to limit speed of movement of the articulated mast depending upon the sensor output signals. The drive is manually controllable in an emergency operation. The large manipulator further includes at least one limiting means, which, in the emergency operation, limit speed of the drive to a pre-specified maximum value.

Large manipulator having an articulated mast that can be quickly folded and unfolded

A large manipulator including an extendable folding boom. The extendable boom includes a turntable that is rotatable about a vertical axis and boom segments pivotable at folding joints about folding axes in relation to an adjacent boom segment or the turntable via respective drive assemblies. The extendable boom further includes rotary angle sensors configured to detect folding angles between adjacent boom segments or between one of the boom segments and the adjacent turntable. The extendable boom further includes an inclination sensor arranged at a last of the boom segments forming a boom tip and a computing unit configured to establish an elastic deformation of the extendable folding boom based on the detected folding angles and the inclination of the last boom segment.

An electrohydraulic control circuit includes a hydraulically-operated drive assembly and an emergency valve. The hydraulically-operated drive assembly includes an electrically-actuated proportional valve and hydraulic operating lines. The proportional valve is connected to the hydraulic operating lines for actuation of the drive assembly in a normal operation mode. The proportional valve is also connected to a pressure supply line and to a return line. The emergency valve is connected to the hydraulic operating lines for actuation of the drive assembly in an emergency operation mode. In the emergency operation mode, the emergency valve is actuated via an emergency operating unit.

Electrohydraulic control circuit for a large manipulator

The invention relates to a large manipulator (), in particular a truck-mounted concrete pump, having a mast pedestal () which is rotatable about a vertical axis by means of a rotary drive and which is arranged on a chassis (), having an articulated mast () which comprises two or more mast arms (), wherein the mast arms () are connected, so as to be pivotable by means of in each case one pivoting drive, to the respectively adjacent mast pedestal () or mast arm (), having a control device, which actuates the drives, for the mast movement, and having a mast sensor arrangement for detecting the position of at least one point of the articulated mast () or a pivot angle (&#x3c6;, &#x3c6;, &#x3c6;, &#x3c6;) of at least one articulated joint. The large manipulator is characterized in that the control device () is designed to limit the speed of the mast movement on the basis of the output signal from the mast sensor arrangement. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the movement of an articulated mast () of a large manipulator (), in particular of a truck-mounted concrete pump.

An extendable folding boom includes a turntable rotatable about a vertical axis, a plurality of boom segments pivotable at folding joints about respectively horizontal folding axes with respect to an adjacent boom segment or the turntable, and a sensor configured to sense a folding angle between two adjacent boom segments or between a boom segment and the turntable. The sensor includes a field-generating element and a field-sensing element spaced apart from each other along a horizontal axis in a contactless arrangement.

Large manipulator having an articulated mast and having means for measuring angles of rotation

A large manipulator includes a chassis, at least two front support arms, and at least two rear support arms. The support arms are coupled to corresponding extendable support legs that are each coupled to the chassis and that are each configured to be extended between a travel position and a support position. The large manipulator further includes a mast arm with a turntable coupled to the chassis. An operating range of the mast arm is dependent upon the support positions of the extendable support arms. The large manipulator further includes a computer with a monitor and a program-controlled positioning aid. The positioning aid is configured to generate a graphical representation of surrounding image data on the monitor. The operating range of the mast arm is visualized in the graphical representation.
