A complex ring element includes first and second rings arranged such that their axes lie on a shared axis and disposed adjacent to one another when viewed in the direction of the shared axis, with one of the first and second rings representing a shaft of a rotor or being connected to a shaft of the rotor. A connecting element made of metal interconnects the first and second rings of metal such that outer peripheral surfaces of the first and second rings are partially overlapped when viewed in the direction of the shared axis. The connecting element is configured to extend circumferentially as viewed in the peripheral direction about the shared axis and is produced by an additive application method.

A rotating electric machine includes a stator having a segment pair of first and second active part segments, and a rotor mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation relative to the stator and including a ring-shaped reaction element extending along a reaction element circle about the axis of rotation, with a circular arc of the reaction element circle running between the two active part segments. The rotor includes magnetizable regions arranged in series along the reaction element circle, with a non-magnetic region being arranged between two adjacent magnetizable regions. The first active part segment of the segment pair of the stator includes a number of electromagnets arranged in series along a course of the circular arc, and the second active part segment of the segment pair of the stator includes a number of permanent magnets arranged in series along the course of the circular arc.

A permanent magnet for connecting with a connection device of an external rotor machine includes a north pole and a south pole as magnetic poles. A magnetic field runs from the south pole to the north pole, with a cross section of the permanent magnet having an envelope with a concave section. The envelope has, in the form of a sickle, the concave section and a convex section. The permanent magnet runs in an arcuate manner along the convex section, and the magnetic poles run in an arcuate manner along the concave section.

A permanent magnet having end surfaces and an envelope curve shaped as a biconvex lens having first and second convex portions, magnetization running in an arcuate manner along the first convex portion between a north pole and a south poles. The permanent magnet runs along the second convex portion in an arcuate manner, and at least one of the magnet's end surfaces within the envelope curve has a connection surface adapted for connecting with a connection device by fusing or by positive engagement. The rotor is preferably pressed onto the shaft of the rotor after the connection device is formed around a connection surface of the permanent magnets by injection molding.

A permanently-excited dynamoelectric machine includes a stator and a rotor supported for rotation about an axis. The stator has a winding system, which is embedded in grooves of a material forming a magnetic return path and interacts electromagnetically with permanent magnets of the rotor via an air gap between the stator and the rotor. The permanent magnets are disposed on the rotor, with each individual permanent magnet, on a side facing towards the air gap, having a North and South pole. The rotor, viewed in the circumferential direction, has a pole coverage by the permanent magnets of 100%, i.e. that the permanent magnets viewed in the circumferential direction, are arranged substantially without gaps.

An electric machine, in particular a motor, includes a winding support assembly and a measuring system, preferably an infrared measuring system, The measuring system has at least one sensor and an evaluation unit, whereby the measuring system is integrated in the winding support assembly. The infrared sensor, which operates without making contact with the winding support assembly, provides almost instantaneously a measurement value that is proportional to the actual temperature of the winding system, thereby significantly improving motor protection. The sensor can be embedded and sealed in the winding support assembly.
