A switching and/or distributing device has at least one receiving housing and a housing cover. Arranged in at least one housing rail region are one or a plurality of power distribution rails which extend substantially in a main plane and are connected to sub-distribution rails. In at least a first plane, said sub-distribution rails extend substantially in parallel to the main plane and are electrically insulated from one another and extend in the direction of at least one housing component region, wherein in the housing component region, in particular modular components, which contain electrical/electronic operating means, are in electrical contact with one sub-distribution rail each. As a result, a switching and/or distributing device is improved in such a way that the arrangement of corresponding components is possible easily without much additional effort even in potentially explosive atmospheres and a plurality of components of different ty pes and of different sizes can be arranged at the same time.

Switching and/or distributing device

An explosion-proof housing includes at least one metal housing part having at least one of a housing opening or receiving surface, and a support edge bordering said at least one of a housing opening or receiving surface. A cover part covers said at least one of a housing opening or the receiving surface. The cover part includes a peripheral cover edge which is connected to the support edge in an explosion-proof manner such that in the event of an explosion inside the housing, the explosion is prevented from crossing over to an explosive atmosphere surrounding the housing. A plurality of connection points are formed between the support edge and the cover edge. The connection points include interlocking depressions and protrusions. The protrusions are formed by partial melting of the cover edge. The depressions and the protrusions interlock with play in a longitudinal direction of the housing.

Explosion-proof housing and method for producing the same

The invention relates to a pressure relief device () for a housing () which is protected against explosions, in particular is compression-proof and has a wall connecting piece () which can be at least partially inserted into a housing opening () of a housing wall () by its insertion connecting piece section (), which can be in particular detachably fixed from an inner side of the housing and rests from the outside on an opening edge () of the housing opening () in its inserted and fixed position with a radially outwardly projecting support flange (), wherein the insertion connecting piece section () furthermore comprises a projecting connecting piece section () which is opposite the insertion connecting piece section relative to the support flange () and comprises a longitudinal conduit () running through the wall connecting piece () into which conduit a flame-blocking body () is replaceably inserted, wherein a pressure nut () which loads the flame blocking body () with pressure in its insertion position and with a pressure edge () projecting radially inward at least in sections can be screwed onto a free end section () of the projecting connecting piece section (), and wherein the pressure edge () contacts an outer viewing side of the flame blocking body ().

Pressure release device

The invention relates to an explosion-proof housing and to a method for connecting a housing part and a cover part, wherein the housing is formed at least from a metal housing part with at least one housing opening and/or receiving surface and a support edge which borders said housing opening and/or receiving surface and with a cover part which covers the housing opening or receiving surface and comprises a peripheral cover edge. The cover part and the housing part are connected together in an explosion-proof manner. In order to improve such a housing such that a corresponding connection of the housing part and cover part can be produced in a simple and secure manner without the use of adhesive in order to form an explosion-proof housing and such that the housing part and the cover part have a high degree of connection stability, a plurality of connection points between the support edge and the cover edge is formed as interlocking depressions and protrusions, the protrusions being formed by partial melting the cover edge.

Explosion-proof housing and method for producing same

The invention relates to an electrical distribution system (), having a housing (), in which fastening rails () are provided, which provide fastening points (), which are arranged in lines, for the fastening of electrical components (). Additionally, one or more, in particular explosion-protected, line-shaped heating elements () are provided in the housing (), which heating elements each comprise a radiator body (). The one or more heating elements () are each arranged below an associated group of fastening points (), where electric current can be applied to the heating elements in order to heat electrical components () fastened at the associated fastening points ().

Heated electrical distribution system

A cable/lead insertion unit for the insertion and passing-through of at least one lead into and through a wall opening of a housing wall. An insertion sleeve is used for insertion into the wall opening and a bearing flange at least in places protrudes therefrom radially outwards. Furthermore, a clamp part, in particular screwable onto the insertion sleeve in the direction of the bearing flange, is used, as well as a fastening portion of the insertion sleeve situated opposite the clamp part. The fastening portion on its outside has a partially circumferential thread turn, by which a clamping element can be brought into engagement for pressing the bearing flange onto a rim of the wall opening.

Cable/lead insertion unit

A cable/line lead-in an insertion sleeve including a connection section and a contact, and a clamping part. The clamping part is detachably placeable on the connecting section of the insertion sleeve in the direction of the contact flange. The insertion sleeve and clamping part are assembled from at least two individual elements divided essentially in the axial direction. Guides are arranged along corresponding partition edges of the insertion sleeve and the clamping part are to accurately position the at least two individual elements of each insertion sleeve and clamping part. The guides interlock with one another. The cable/line lead-in is usable in regions at risk of explosion.

Cable/line lead-in

A cable/line insertion is used to insert and thread at least one line into and through a wall opening into a housing wall. The insertion comprises an insertion sleeve for inserting into the wall opening, a pressing flange which projects substantially radially outwards from same, in places, and a clamping part which in particular can be screwed in the direction of the pressing flange onto the insertion sleeve, and a fastening section of the insertion sleeve, which is arranged opposite the clamping part. The fastening section comprises a contact surface which projects at least in places substantially radially outwards, which contact surface can be engaged from behind by a plug part for pressing the pressing flange to an opening edge of the wall opening.

Cable/line insertion

The invention pertains to a container () with at least a box-shaped lower part () and a lid part () both connected by a pivoting means () such that the lid part is pivotable between a closed position () and an open position (). The pivoting means () comprises a first bolt () assigned to the lid part () and a second bolt () assigned to the lower part (), which bolts are pivotally connected to each other, wherein the second bolt () is slidably supported in longitudinal direction in the lower part () between an inserted position and an extracted position, and where in particular the second bolt () is slidable in longitudinal direction in a receiving sleeve () between said inserted and extracted positions, which receiving sleeve () is supported in the lower part () to be releasable from the side of the lid part ().

A cover, in particular for an explosion-proof luminaire at least comprises a mounting frame, which is detachably fastened to the luminaire, and a transparent luminaire cover held at least along a circumferential edge by the mounting frame. In order to improve a cover of this nature to the effect that it is protected in a cost-effective manner and without substantial constructive effort from the occurrence of microcracks due to the effects of shocks and impacts on the luminaire cover, a transparent protective cover is placed in front of the luminaire cover for a flameproof and impact-resistant embodiment of the cover. The invention also relates to an explosion-proof luminaire with a cover of this nature.

Covering and luminaire having such a covering

The invention relates to a housing () for an electrical operating means such as a light, plug-in device, measuring instrument, switch, distributor, or the like, having at least one first and one second housing part () that can be assembled with one another in an explosion-proof fashion. Each housing part has one joining surface (); when the housing parts are assembled, said joining surfaces are in contact with one another, forming a penetration-proof gap (). In order to provide a novel structure of joining surfaces by means of which a corresponding penetration-proof gap is formed independently of the cross-sectional shape of the housing parts and to be able to substantially unite the advantages of both joining surfaces and the housing mentioned above, the joining surfaces run substantially perpendicular relative to the rest of the housing parts and surface profiles () are formed in said joining surfaces, the penetration-proof gap being formed between said surface profiles.

Housing for electrical operating means

A light includes a housing part and a translucent cover connected to the housing part, in a pressure-tight manner, by a screw-on ring. A flame-extinguishing gap is formed between the housing part and the cover. The flame-extinguishing gap is formed directly between a surface of the cover, and a surface of the housing part, and the screw-on ring covers the flame-extinguishing gap at the gap end pointing to the outer side of the light.

Light having a housing part and a cover

An explosion-proof housing includes at least one lower housing part which is provided with a housing wall defining a housing opening that can be closed by an articulated cover. The articulated cover is mounted by an articulation device to be pivotable between an opened and a closed position. In order to allow both a closely adjacent arrangement of housings and the complete utilization of the housing interior, the articulation device includes a lower articulation part arranged in the housing wall, and an upper articulation part arranged on a lower side of the articulated cover which faces the housing opening in a closed position. The lower articulation part and the upper articulation part are pivotably interconnected.
