System and method for trackable applications including an application providing unit, a controller, and an incentive tracker. The application providing unit is adapted to send a trackable application upon request. The controller is adapted to receive interactions from the trackable application. The incentive tracker is adapted to select an incentive based on the interaction data. The controller is further adapted to send the selected incentive to the trackable application.

Contextual application tracking

The present teaching relates to searching. In one example, a search query is received from a person. A plurality of search results are retrieved based on the search query. An intent of the person is estimated with respect to at least some of the plurality of search results. The estimated intent is what the person intends to do with respect to the at least some of the plurality of search results. The plurality of search results are provided based on the estimated intent of the person.

Method and system for intent-driven searching

System and method for delivering context customized applications comprising a content analyzer, an application customizer, and a controller adapted. In one embodiment, a search query may be obtained. A set of one or more use cases may be determined based, at least in part, upon the search query. Systems and methods, including user interfaces, are provided for implementing searches using contextual information associated with a Web page (or other document) that a user is viewing when a query is entered. The page includes a contextual search interface that has an associated context vector representing content of the page. When the user submits a search query via the contextual search interface, the query and the context vector are both provided to the query processor and used in responding to the query.

User interfaces for search systems using in-line contextual queries

The subject matter disclosed herein relates to ranking and/or indexing of documents based at least in part on user interaction with contextual shortcuts. The first message may be screened for quality and assigned a quality score, and if the quality score does not exceed a predetermined threshold, then the second message will not be sent to the messaging system.

Method and system for generating dynamic content. A request and associated information is received for generating a dynamic content page (DCP). The DCP is generated by a DCP generation engine by integrating a number of pieces of content accessible from respective sources. The content pieces to be included in the DCP are identified and arranged in a fashion consistent with the request and the associated information. A locator is then associated with the DCP, so that the DCP can be subsequently located through the locator. Such generated DCP and/or locator are provided as a response to the search query.

Method and system for generating search URLs

Enriching emails includes: receiving a user's email messages; performing a semantic analysis on the email message body; deriving a plurality of objects of interest; associating search-based content with the objects of interest; ranking the objects of interest; and outputting the ranked objects with the search-based content into a current email message of the user.

System and method for extracting, collecting, enriching and ranking of email objects

Techniques for providing information about 'offline' content are provided. In one technique, content (e.g., televised or paper-printed content) is 'tagged' with a service-associated icon and a keyword. A person seeing the icon in the content may submit the keyword to the service via his web browser. The service responsively submits search-limiting criteria, associated with the keyword, as query terms to a search engine. The search engine determines relevant web pages based on the query terms, dynamically generates search results and returns the search results to either the web browser or the service, which may dynamically generate and send to the web browser another web page containing the search results. Due to the automatic addition of the search-limiting criteria to the query terms, the set of web pages that the search engine determines to be relevant is narrower and more focused than the set otherwise would be.
