An arrangement for throttling a fluid flow includes a throttle element arranged so as to influence a flow cross section in a fluid duct. The throttle element has a resiliently elastic disc-shaped basic body which is arranged with a top side and a bottom side between at least two supports in the fluid duct. The body is arranged in such a way that the flow cross section can be variably adjusted as a function of a pressure difference between the top side and the bottom side of the resiliently elastic disc-shaped basic body. At least one support bears against the top side of the resiliently elastic disc-shaped basic body, and at least one support bears against the bottom side of the resiliently elastic disc-shaped basic body.

An electric motor includes an armature shaft which is mounted in at least one floating bearing. The floating bearing comprises a bearing inner ring, which is positioned on the armature shaft, a bearing outer ring, which is received in a bearing seat, and a fluid pump for a vehicle fluid system having the electric motor. Lubricant disposed between the armature shaft and the bearing inner ring forms a hydrodynamic lubricant film and generates a constant relative movement between the armature shaft and the bearing inner ring.

In a hydraulic fluid pump, in particular for a vehicle brake system, having a housing and a piston that is mounted in an axially movable manner in the housing in a piston chamber. A drive moves the piston and a sealing element seals off the piston chamber in the direction of the drive. The sealing element is designed as a diaphragm that extends through the piston chamber transversely with respect to the movement direction of the piston.

A method and a device, respectively, for detecting the amount of wear on the carbon brush drive system of an electrically commutated d.c. motor which is used, for example, in the form of a pump motor in a motor vehicle. The d.c. motor is driven by at least two carbon brushes and includes means for detecting the generative follow-up voltage. The amount of wear on at least one carbon brush is derived from the time behavior of the generative motor voltage and displayed to the driver.
