An add-on part () of a vehicle body, such as a door () or tailgate, has interconnected inner and outer parts () and reinforced portions () and a reinforcing device () connecting said reinforced portions (). The reinforcing device () has arms (), and, in the region of the ends of the arms (), the reinforcing device () is connected in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner to the reinforced portions (). Such an add-on part, while having a structurally simple design and relatively low weight, ensures particularly good stiffening properties.

Add-on part of a vehicle body

A vehicle component () has a component part () for arranging on a vehicle door () of a motor vehicle (). An alignment system () with an alignment element () and with a fixed point structure () is arranged on the vehicle door () for aligning the component part () in a defined mounting position. The alignment element () comprises a first connecting portion () for fastening to the fixed point structure () and a second connecting portion () for fastening the component part (). Starting from the fixed point structure (), the component part () is thereby positionable in the defined mounting position by the alignment element (). The fixed point structure () is a door lock device (), and the component part () is a paneling component part () of the vehicle door ().

Vehicle component

A motor vehicle door has an outer module and an inner module. The outer module contains an outer panel and an inner frame part to which an impact support and hinges can be fixed. For the motor vehicle door to have a simplified configuration and a low weight while having a high degree of rigidity, the inner frame part of the outer module is formed by a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. The inner module contains an upper encircling window frame and a lower assembly support sheet. The upper window frame is configured as a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. A lower frame part of the upper window frame is connected to the upper border region of the assembly support sheet with a longitudinally running hollow support being formed, and the upper window frame is connected locally to the inner frame part.

Motor vehicle door

A removable roof is provided which intended for a motor vehicle passenger car, which covers roof and opening between a windshield frame and a body structure of a vehicle body which extends, for example, behind vehicle occupants seats. The removable roof is formed of a dimensionally stable material and is held in position, on the one side, by means of a form-lockingly acting fixing system and, on the other side, by means of a locking system. So that, while the mounting and demounting are simple, the roof is securely fastened to the vehicle body, the roof comprises two roof elements which are fitted together without hinges in a longitudinal center plane, each roof element cooperating with the windshield frame, by means of a first fixing device and a second fixing device of the fixing system, and with the vehicle body frame structure by means of a locking device of the locking system.

Removable roof assembly for a motor vehicle

In order to avoid an improper bending-open of a sealing element on the door and thus an access gap for a tool, a corner plate is provided in the miter corner of the door. The corner plate is held in the door frame by way of a safety catch, so that the sealing element cannot be pulled out of the member profile of the door.

Safety device for a door window of a motor vehicle and method of making same

A latching arrangement for a top includes a latching device arranged at a forward frame part of the top and a mounting device provided at the windshield frame, whereby a pivot arm of the latching device movable about an approximately horizontally aligned pivot axis includes a rotatable roller which cooperates during the closing operation of the top with a guide track of the mounting device. In order to achieve with small structural height of the latching arrangement a relatively large lift movement of the top in the vertical direction, two rollers arranged at a distance to one another are provided at the pivot arm which during the actuation of the pivot arm cooperate sequentially with the fixed guide track.
