According to one embodiment, a carbon dioxide adsorption-desorption device including an electrode that includes a porous composite is provided. The porous composite includes an electro-conductive component and a porous material on the electro-conductive component. The porous material has pores of an angstrom size or a nanometer size, and includes a moiety exhibiting redox activity according to electrical response.

Carbon dioxide adsorption-desorption device

A molecular sensor of an embodiment includes a sensitive film including a plurality of metal organic framework particles, and a detector configured to be capable of measuring a change in physical quantity due to adsorption of a target molecule to the sensitive film. Pores are present between the plurality of metal organic framework particles, and the pores are any of mesopores of 2 nm or more and 50 nm or less, micropores smaller than the mesopores, and macropores larger than the mesopores. A sum of areas of the micropores is defined as S, a sum of areas of the mesopores is defined as S, a sum of areas of the macropores is defined as S, and an area of an entire image analysis area is defined as S, in an image analysis area by two-dimensional image analysis on a cross section of the sensitive film in a thickness direction. Pore distribution satisfies 0.35≤S/(S+S+S), 0.01≤S+S+S)/S≤0.5.

Molecular sensor, molecular detection device, and molecular detection method

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent having low diffusibility, an acidic gas removal method employing the acidic gas absorbent, and also an acidic gas removal apparatus employing the absorbent. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises: a particular tertiary amine compound, such as, an alkyl dialkanol amine or a hydroxyalkyl piperazine; a halogen-free ionic surfactant; and an aqueous solvent. The embodiments provide not only the acidic gas absorbent but also an acidic gas removal method and apparatus employing the acidic gas absorbent.

According to one embodiment, a molecular sensor contains a sensitive film in which a porous member and an ionic liquid coexist. The molecular sensor is capable of detecting a target molecule by measuring a change in physical quantity of the sensitive film due to adsorption of the target molecule to the sensitive film.

A molecular detection apparatus includes a detector. The detector includes: a vibrator having a piezoelectric member that has a first surface and a second surface, a first electrode connected to the first surface, a second electrode connected to the second surface, and a third electrode connected to the second surface and disconnected from the second electrode; a sensitive film overlapping at least one part of the second electrode and at least one part of the third electrode and configured to change a vibration frequency of the vibrator in response to an interaction with target molecules; and a detection electrode to detect the changed vibration frequency.

According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus comprises a processor. The processor is configured to receive a first number of outputs from the first number of sensors mutually different in response to an odor, obtain a second number of indicators by using the first number of outputs from the first number of sensors, the second number being larger than the first number, obtain the second number of indicator values by using the first number of outputs and the second number of indicators, and discriminate the odor based on the second number of indicator values.

Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and storage medium

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent kept from deterioration, an acidic gas removal method using the absorbent, and an acidic gas removal apparatus using the same. The acidic gas absorbent contains an amine compound and water, and further contains superfine bubble containing inert gas wherein an average diameter of said superfine bubble is 150 nm or less. The acidic gas removal method provided here employs that absorbent. The acidic gas removal apparatus is equipped with a unit for introducing the superfine bubbles into the absorbent.

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent having low diffusibility, an acidic gas removal method, and an acidic gas removal apparatus. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises: an amine compound having a vapor pressure of 0.001 to 10 Pa at 20&#xb0; C.; a water-soluble polymer compound having a mass-average molecular weight of 900 to 200000 and not containing a functional group having a pKa value greater than 7 except for hydroxy; and water.

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent, an acidic gas removal method using the absorbent, and an acidic gas removal apparatus using the absorbent. The absorbent absorbs an acidic gas in a large amount and is hardly diffused. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises an amine compound represented by the following formula (1): 

A carbon dioxide absorbent of an embodiment includes a heterocyclic amine expressed by Formula (1), and the heterocyclic amine having a pKa of any one amino group included in a heterocyclic ring in Formula (1) in a range of 7.0 or more to 8.6 or less and an organic solvent having a boiling point of 150&#xb0; C. or more at 1 atm. A total mass of the heterocyclic amine and the organic solvent is 70 mass % or more to 100 mass % or less of the carbon dioxide absorbent. Each of Rto Rin Formula (1) is H, oxygen double-bonded with carbon of the heterocyclic ring, CH, OH, or an alkyl chain optionally including a functional group. Xin Formula (1) is H, CH, CO, C(O)OCH, C(O)OCH, C(O)OCH(CH), C(O)OC(CH), C(O)OCH, C(O)CH, or C(O)CH.

Carbon dioxide absorbent and apparatus of separating and recovering carbon dioxide

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent, an acidic gas removal method, and an acidic gas removal apparatus. The absorbent absorbs an acidic gas in a large amount and hardly diffuses in air. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises an amine compound having a sulfonyl group and two or more amino groups.

A molecular detection apparatus according to an arrangement includes: a collection unit collecting a detection target gas containing a molecule to be detected; a detector including a detection cell that has an organic probe provided in a sensor unit, the organic probe capturing the collected molecule, and a discriminator discriminating the molecule by a detection signal generated by the molecule being captured by the organic probe of the detection cell. The detection cell has the organic probe including a dicyanovinyl structure or a coumarin structure.

A molecular detection apparatusaccording to an embodiment includes: a collection unit collecting detection target gas containing molecules to be detected; a detector including a detection cell having an organic probe provided at a sensor unit, the organic probe capturing the collected molecule to be detected; and a discriminator discriminating the molecule to be detected by a detection signal generated by the molecule being captured by the organic probe. The detection cell has the organic probe containing a phosphonic acid structure or phosphoric acid structure.

Molecular detection apparatus, molecular detection method, and molecular detector

A molecular detection apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a collection unit collecting detection target gas containing molecules to be detected; a detector including a plurality of detection cells each having an organic probe disposed at a sensor unit, the organic probe capturing the molecules collected in the collection unit; and a discriminator discriminating the molecules by a signal pattern based on an intensity difference of detection signals generated by the molecules being captured by the organic probes in a plurality of the detection cells. In the molecular detection apparatus according to the embodiment, at least one of the detection cells has a plurality of different types of the organic probes disposed at the sensor unit.

A molecular detection apparatus according to an embodiment includes a detector and a discriminator. The detector includes a plurality of detection cells, where the plurality of detection cells include at least an organic probe containing a cyano group or a nitro group as a neighboring group of a reactive group. The discriminator discriminates a substance to be detected by signal patterns of the plurality of detection cells.
