In a control method by a robot system, in the robot system including a plurality of robots and a teaching device connected to the plurality of robots via a network, the teaching device transmits, to an identification act execution robot among the plurality of robots, an identification act instruction signal for causing the identification act execution robot to perform an identification act of identifying a transmission target robot to which operation data is planned to be transmitted among the plurality of robots, the identification act execution robot, which receives the identification act instruction signal, performs the identification act, and, after the identification act execution robot performs the identification act, when the identification act execution robot and the transmission target robot are the same, the teaching device transmits the operation data to the transmission target robot.

An information processing device that is connected to one or more other information processing devices and distributes hibernation data to another information processing device, includes: a storage unit that stores the hibernation data; a configuration information acquisition unit that acquires identification information and configuration information describing a device configuration of each information processing device from the other information processing device; a configuration evaluation unit that analyzes the acquired configuration information and determines if the configuration of the device is the same as the configuration of the other information processing device; and a data transmission unit that, when there is at least one information processing device with the same device configuration as itself among the other information processing devices, sends the hibernation data to an information processing device with the same configuration using the identification information of that other device as the address.

A print job management system includes a job maintaining unit, a user default storing unit, a determining unit, and a job providing unit. The job maintaining unit stores a print job, ID information on an owner user of the print job, and model information on a job handling printer in association with each other, the job handling printer being a printing device corresponding to the print job. The user default storing unit stores ID information on a user and information on a user default printer in association with each other, the user default printer being a printing device selected as the job handling printer by default when a print job of the user is generated. The determining unit determines a specific printing device as the user default printer corresponding to a user and updates data stored in the user default storing unit when ID information on the user is input using an input device associated with the specific printing device. The job providing unit provides a print job stored in the job maintaining unit to a job handling printer corresponding to the print job.

Print job management system and default printer determining apparatus

A device controller is connected with multiple terminals and with at least one input-output device via a network. The device controller has: a reception controller configured to perform first authentication according to data input from a first terminal and to cause the first terminal to obtain information on a specified series of processing based on a result of the first authentication; and an input-output controller configured to perform second authentication according to data input from a second terminal and to cause a specific input-output device selected out of the at least one input-output device to perform the specified series of processing, based on a result of the second authentication. The input-output controller allows the specific input-output device to perform the specified series of processing when the second terminal is selected in advance for the specific input-output device.
