A system for detecting a smart device left in vehicle. The system includes a capacitor, a first switch, and a second switch. The capacitor is configured to store energy generated by a voltage source configured to power vehicle accessories. The first switch is movable between an open position and a closed position. The first switch is configured to be in the open position when the voltage source is on, and in the closed position when the voltage source is off. A second switch is movable between an open position and a closed position. The second switch is configured to be in the open position when the smart device is not on a charging pad, and in the closed position when the smart device is on the charging pad. The system generates a notification that the smart device has been left on the charging pad when both the first and the second switches are in the closed position. The notification is powered by the capacitor.

System for reminding user to remove smartphone from vehicle when exiting

A method for requesting emergency assistance for a vehicle involved in an accident. The method includes the following: storing vehicle operating conditions prior to the accident in a storage device; detecting the accident; after the accident, deactivating charging of a smartphone being charged on a wireless charging pad; transmitting to the smartphone the vehicle operating conditions stored prior to the accident; transmitting the vehicle operating conditions from the smartphone to emergency authorities; and calling the emergency authorities using the smartphone and initiating handsfree communication with the emergency authorities.

In a position detector utilizing a Hall effect, a magnet is disposed to move relative to a circuit board. A conductive element is printed on the circuit board. A control circuit is mounted on the circuit board and is connected to the conductive element through a position detection wiring. The control circuit supplies an electric current to the conductive element through the position detection wiring such that the electric current flows in the conductive element in a first direction, detects a potential difference in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in the conductive element, and performs an operation according to a position of the magnet relative to the conductive element based on the potential difference detected.

Position detector

In a wiring pattern formed on a printed circuit board, a current detection pattern having a predetermined area is formed in the wiring pattern for detecting a current, which flows to a subject body for current measurement, based on magnetic flux density generated by the current. The current detection pattern is formed of a same material as the wiring pattern. An excitation current is supplied to the current detection pattern for detecting the magnetic flux density. An output voltage outputted from the current detection pattern in correspondence to the excitation current and the magnetic flux density is measured. The current flowing to the subject body is calculated based on the magnetic flux density calculated from the excitation current and the output voltage.

Current detection device

A filter circuit includes an input-signal processing section and a signal-level determining section. The input-signal processing section samples and holds a digital input signal input according to a clock signal, outputs the holding signal as a sampling input signal when a level of the digital input signal is constant between sampling points, and reverses the holding signal and outputs the reversed signal as the sampling input signal when the level of the digital input signal changes between the sampling points. The signal-level determining section sequentially delays the sampling input signal from the input-signal processing section into plural stages, outputs a first level signal at a first level when all the delayed signals are at the first level, and outputs a second level signal at a second level when all the delayed signals are at the second level.

Filter circuit for removing noise pulses from digital input signal

A peak voltage detector circuit detects a peak voltage of an input voltage. The input voltage is input into a first input terminal of a comparator. A counter circuit counts up a counter value in synchronization with a first clock signal, when a signal output from the comparator is in a first state. The counter circuit counts down the counter value in synchronization with a second clock signal. A digital-analog conversion circuit outputs an output voltage corresponding to the counter value, and the output voltage is input into a second input terminal of the comparator. The first clock signal has a wave period shorter than that of the second clock signal.

Peak voltage detector circuit and binarizing circuit including the same circuit

A signal processing circuit for a rotation detector outputs accurate rotational information including a rotating direction of a rotor which rotates with an object. A phase difference compensation substantiating block decides whether a predetermined phase difference compensating condition is established. The condition relates to decision whether noise effects on first and second filter signals in first and second filter blocks are different from each other. When the phase difference compensating condition is established, the phase difference compensation substantiating block corrects the phase relationship between first and second phase difference compensation output signals so that the phase relationship is identical to that attained just before the phase difference compensating condition is established.
