A method, computer system, and a computer program product for energy efficient data exchange is provided. The present invention may include a first electronic card device (ECD) including a first switch and a second switch. The present invention may include the first switch being configured to power on the first ECD responsive to the first ECD engaging a second ECD. The present invention may include the first ECD being configured to exchange data with the second ECD. The present invention may include a docking component configured to receive the first ECD. The present invention may include the docking component including an actuator configured to engage the second switch to power on the first ECD when the first ECD is received by the docking component. The present invention may include the first ECD configured to transfer received data from the second ECD to a mobile device associated with the docking component.

Energy efficient electronic card

An embodiment for creating a tiled image using different zoom levels based on user interests is provided. The embodiment may include receiving one or more photographs captured by a user. The embodiment may also include analyzing features associated with the one or more photographs. The embodiment may further include identifying one or more known objects of interest. The embodiment may also include in response to determining the user wants to take a tiled zoom photograph, capturing a photographic image. The embodiment may further include scanning the photographic image for identifying features of the one or more known objects of interest. The embodiment may also include in response to determining at least one object of interest is found in the scanned photographic image, assembling the tiled zoom photograph with a plurality of tiles.

Automatic creation of a tiled image based on user interests

Methods and systems for the secure delivery and processing of exam questions and responses. One or more exam questions and one or more identifiers of one or more designated individuals who are authorized to print the one or more exam questions are transported using a secure protocol. Biometric information is obtained from an individual requesting to print the one or more exam questions and information is read from an embedded tag that identifies a corresponding exam sheet as a unique exam sheet for a specified exam and that identifies that the specified exam is for a particular student. The specified exam is printed on the unique exam sheet in response to a first current time being in a printing time window TWand the biometric information from the individual matching biometric information of one of the one or more designated individuals.

Secure delivery and processing of paper-based exam questions and responses

Amount of distance and/or time spent driving off-road by a vehicle during a specified drive may be detected. Readings from a location device and accelerometer sensor of the vehicle may be compared with historical readings of other vehicles taking similar drives, and for example, with similar driving behaviors, to detect off-road driving by the vehicle.

Detecting vehicular deviation from a specified path

A peripheral device, e.g. a smart phone, receives information defining a secured area perimeter of a secure area and a global positioning system (GPS) about the location of a user. The process compares the security perimeter to the position information to determine whether a user is within the secured area. If the user is outside the secured area and has not returned an access device, e.g. a badge, a temporary pass, etc., the peripheral device posts an alert to the user, e.g. a warning the user may have forgotten to return the access device/badge. Alerts can be posted or sent for other conditions as well.

Smartphone based reminding system for forgotten objects

A physical device may include an embedded microprocessor and memory. The memory is loadable with information associated with a holder of the card device. The microprocessor communicates with another device responsive to detecting said another device is within a threshold proximity. The microprocessor further may negotiate for exchanging of the information with said another device based on current context.
