The invention relates to the use of at least one impact modifier having a refractive index IRin a polyamide matrix consisting of a mixture of amorphous polyamide and semicrystalline polyamide, said matrix having a refractive index IR2, the difference in absolute value of IR-IRnot exceeding 0.006, to produce a transparent composition having a fatigue strength, under the fatigue test referred to as notched 'Ross-Flex', greater than 50 000 at &#x2212;10&#xb0; C.

Rigid and ductile polyamide-based transparent composition and use thereof

Provided is a composition including (A) 65% to 95% of a polyamide mixture, (B) 7% to 30% of at least one impact modifier or of at least one core-shell entity or of a mixture thereof, and (C) 0 to 5% of at least one additive chosen from stabilizers, dyes, plasticizers, fibers, fillers, processing aids or a mixture thereof. The composition may be used, for example, to produce an article by extruding, injection molding, molding or thermoforming.
