A new and distinctplant named 'PollyO' is characterized by high nut yield, early nut maturity, small round nuts and kernels, high kernel percentage, good kernel blanching and excellent flavor. The tree is vigorous and has a desirable growth habit. 'PollyO' is resistant to bud mite (primarilyNal.). DNA markers and field exposure indicate that it is highly resistant to eastern filbert blight (EFB) caused by(Peck) E. M&#xfc;ller.
