An electrical to audible signal measurement apparatus comprises an absolute value converter, a voltage to frequency converter, a polarity detector, and a waveform changer. The absolute value converter is capable of converting a bipolar input signal into a unipolar signal. The voltage to frequency converter is connected to the absolute value converter and is capable of generating a frequency signal proportional to the unipolar signal. The polarity detector is capable of identifying a polarity of the bipolar input signal to form an identified polarity. The waveform changer is connected to the voltage to frequency converter and polarity detector and is capable of generating a number of different waveforms in an audio frequency range in response to receiving the frequency signal from the voltage to frequency converter and in response to the identified polarity.

Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture enable routing a communication from a cell phone associated with a service provider in which the cell phone is located in a predetermined area in which the service provider does not have an operational base station or in which routing assistance is required. A cell base station having one or more antennas is provided in an aircraft. Each of the antennas is configured to monitor a respective sector of the predetermined area for a cell phone communication when the aircraft is flown in proximity to the predetermined area. A registration request from a first cell phone in the predetermined is detected via the cell base station and an ID and location associated with the first cell phone is routed to a ground based telephone switching office, such as the mobile telephone switching office associated with the service provider of the detected cell phone.

A digital message analysis tool for incorporating a digital message standard into a relational database. The tool includes a message standard automation module (MSAM), a message implementation module (MIM) in communication with the MSAM, and, a platform interoperability module (PIM), in communication with the MSAM. The MSAM includes a digital message standard. The MSAM automates the digital message standard into a relational database and provides a first graphic user interface (GUI) that allows a user to view the desired contents of the digital message standard and requirement interdependencies associated within the digital message standard. The MIM includes a second GUI. The MIM develops and provides a message implementation in accordance with the digital message standard. It utilizes the message implementation for providing a message implementation report. The PIM includes a third GUI. The PIM enters a platform digital message implementation for the digital message standard and conducts an interoperability analysis between multiple platform digital message implementations using the third GUI. The PIM also provides a digital message interoperability evaluation report of the evaluation. The MSAM, the MIM, and the PIM cooperate to provide an efficient access to the digital message standard, efficient development of a platform message implementation, and efficient evaluation of interoperability between multiple platforms/programs.
